Clairvoyant, from Chalkida, began their musical journey in the mid-1990s, with their first full-length album, “Fighter’s Soul,” and Vaggelis Keramidas at the helm, who has always played multiple roles in the band. It took ten years for their next, second album, “Time’s Crime,” to be released, while their latest work was “The Last Marks Of Prophecy” (Metal Breed Records, 2015).With a sound that combines beautiful, neoclassical-style guitar work with powerful melodies and an often epic style, Clairvoyant won the undivided affection of those involved in the domestic metal scene, performing alongside iconic names in the genre, such as Scorpions, Loudness, Jag Panzer, and others.With core, fundamental elements from the good old days of Accept and Helloween, clever borrowings from Warlord and Virgin Steele, a distinct European flair, and a subtle infusion of the lyrical US school, Clairvoyant returns, giving us their best work and their best album to date!The quartet of Vaggelis Keramidas (guitars, bass, keyboards), Chris Kalavris (bass), Jim Stasinos (guitars, keyboards), and Fivos Andriopoulos (drums) remains intact, even though eleven whole years have passed since their previous collaborative effort with Clairvoyant, the magnificent and ambitious “The Last Marks of Prophecy.” I’ll say it again: the choice of Antonis Nathanail as the vocalist is excellent, and the addition of Tasos Serras on keyboards and Marios Georgousopoulos on guitars to the lineup is also spot-on.The album includes two bonus tracks: “Dreams of the Past” featuring vocals by Antonis Nathanail and an amazing, alternative version of “Barren Lands.”Mixing and mastering were handled by Yannis Manopoulos (Thelemite) at Manosound Studios in Athens.“Eternal Victory” was released on May 8 on CD by Sleaszy Rider Records.Including 2 new songs and a wonderful cover to "Love Me Forever" of Motorhead!
