Bad Touch are a young UK based rock band who formed 5 years ago whilst all the members were still in school or college. Like most bands the early years were spend toiling away in local pubs playing covers of some rock classics and at the same time introducing some of their own compositions into an ever expanding set. During these formative years the band began to get noticed and soon due to their dynamic live shows became favourites at many local venues.Eventually the bands original material took precedence and it was not long before they recorded their first EP at the Leeders Farm Studio – home of local hero’s The Darknesss.The desire to get their music to a wider audience led the band to seek gigs around the country and this was instrumental in the band being awarded an Exposure Music Award in 2012 for their live show and being invited to play at Hard Rock Hell for the 1st time.2013 was a great year for the band building up to a tour of the UK with The Quireboys and winning the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest.2014 has seen the band step up to become regulars at many venues around the country. Tours with Bonafide, The Electric Boys and Tyketto have given them a great education in performance and this combined with some high profile sets at festivals such as Download, Steelhouse, Legends of Rock and Hard Rock Hell has shown that the band can deliver the goods time after time.2015 is looking like another exiting year.Recording of the debut album has taken place at Foel Studios in January, and the completed 'Half Way Home' will be released on 27th April. In addition, Bad Touch have recently returned from an 18-date UK tour with The Answer.All in all things are looking very bright for these hard working guys. In April released the English rock band Bad Touch debut album “Half Way Home” and are flat to check out if you like the name The Answer, Bonafide and Quireboys.Norfolk UK rockers BAD TOUCH may be a new name for some, but these guys have already opened The Answer's last tour shows, and now are presenting their debut "Half Way Home".Formed as youngsters, some in high school, others in college five years ago, the band has a sound akin to classic Brit hard rock and American southern hard rock, mixed with some blues and a whole lot of dirt road grit."Half Way Home" is an album which leans confidently on the classic rock of Zeppelin and Bad Company, however it also possesses the solidity and grit that UK bands often lack when trying to convince in this style. Singer Stevie meshes Nev MacDonald (Skin) to Ronnie Van Zandt to offer up an authentic, powerful performance which never falls into pastiche or hero worship.Instead this is a frontman confident enough to sound like himself, while being fully aware of what it takes to thrive in his band's chosen genre.He isn't alone, guitar pair Rob G and Seeks a mix of hip thrusting riffs and blues drippin' solos on the awesomely ridiculously "Good On Me (Jeans Song)", thumpingly bombastic "Motherload", which sounds like they've hijacked the riffs of a certain Mr. Page and ain't giving them back, and glorious chant along "Wise Water", which adds a strut and pout to proceedings.The rhythm section of Bailey (rightly credited as "lead bass" in the notes – this boy can play) and George (he's credited as drums, percussion, backing vocals and keyboards – phew!) are immense throughout, grooves built to gargantuan proportions time and again, without ever forgetting to take the rest of the band with them.However "Half Way Home" isn't just a full-on-a-thon, oh no, for the title track starts off swaying on its rocking chair on the porch before settling into a muscular mid-paced throb, while "Something Someone" and "No Excuse" surprise by proving this young act have the poise to convince while tugging the heartstrings.Put simply Bad Touch has everything needed to succeed.Impressively the standard never drops across an album that at under forty minutes could be seen as short, but simply begs for you to hit the play button a second time; "Half Way Home" hitting the mark on each and every one of its eleven tracks.There's a real sense that the UK Rock scene is finally waking from its slumbers and offering up a host of young bands with the smarts and the songs to gain notice across the globe. Bad Touch deserve to be at the forefront of that scene, with "Half Way Home" primed and ready to take you all the way.If you listen to Gene Simmons declaring rock 'n roll is dead, all you need is a band like Bad Touch to refute that.

During the tour, Planet Rock radio play-listed the band’s single “99%” which was remixed for radio by Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton, Killing Joke, Bad Company).Over the summer they played numerous festivals including Ramblin’ Man, Wildfire, Amplified, Cambridge Rock Festival, Weyfest, and many more as well a supporting Dan Baird and Homemade Sin during their UK tour.They toured with Grammy Award winners The Kentucky Headhunters in October 2017 and then embarked on their 1st headline tour in November - with the support Planet Rock including both Hard Rock Hell and Planet RockstockDuring the winter months of 2017/18 the band spent time in the studio working on a new album - with a scheduled release date of autumn 2018.March 2018 saw the guys touring the UK with Skid Row.and with many festivals and a headline tour to follow 2018 looks to be a big year.

The year is 2010 and the place is a college in Norfolk, where five people come together with the idea to start a band and call that band Bad Touch. Between then and 2015 Bad Touch played in copious amounts of venues, building their reputation for live performances, won the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest, played Download Festival, Hard Rock Hell and Steelhouse Festival before releasing their debut album in 2015. The hard work continued supporting the likes of Blues powerhouse Jared James Nichols before releasing their second album and performing at Rambling Man Festival, Wildfire and Amplified.Now in 2018 Bad Touch bring us their third album and put all their experience and passion into audible form for our enjoyment for this which is their first album since signing a worldwide album deal with Marshall Records.Shake A Leg kicks into action and immediately the smooth Southern Rock waves begin to roll over you and soothe the worries of the world away. The slick riffs begin to meander throughout the tracks weaving their way around solid bass, thumping drums, mesmerizing solos and and a pure Rock n Roll vocal.The up tempo feel good Rock music shines through in ‘Dressed To Kill’ which is a toe tapping, sing a long, that just leads thoughts to it being performed live as the structure heads slightly Rockabilly before heading back to continue its glorious journey.‘I Belong’ is a slower track, full of heart and emotion which showcases the incredible vocal it its rawest, along with the feeling that oozes from every instrument before ‘Show Me What It Means’ returns us back to hammering bass, slick Southern sounding riffs and energising drums topped by a powerfully smooth vocal.All 13 tracks on the album are full of passion a testament to the hard work that the band have put in during the 8 year journey they have so far completed and on the form of Shake A Legthat journey is going to be right to the top. This is 45 minutes of top-drawer rock music with a Southern feel. That will leave you singing along and feeling fantastic.

Bad Touch is a 5-piece classic rock band from Norfolk, UK. Most people see growing up in Norfolk as a disadvantage, but Bad Touch owes the core of its sound to the countryside surroundings. The production is also excellent – the recorded balance between the band members is really good. Drums, guitar, bass, vocal – everyone has room to breathe and moments to shine. Bad Touch has always been a tight band on stage and in the studio – and the album production catches this well for a band that truly has always been about the sum of the parts.The title track keeps the urgency and tempo rolling and this sets up ‘Nothing Wrong With That,’ which is possibly the band’s best radio single to date. The band’s influences are very clear with this song, but it’s the track’s spirit and execution that gives it such class.
