Manzana are a Finnish, female fronted rock/metal band, have released four albums and toured Europe nine times, made hundreds of shows in Finland, and made it on Finnish charts with two albums. 2016 Manzana also toured China. They have also performed in Russia and on an Italian festival. Fifth album will be released on spring 2017.Manzanas music is a post-modern combination hard rock, catchy melodies, punk-like vocals, and industrial metal sound.The singer Piritta has also received front page publicity with her rock-novel Roadkill. The book deals with motherhood and femininity in the rock scene, and raised discussion in the Finnish media. The book was sold out in three weeks, 4th print came out 2013.

Tampere-based rock band Manzana released their sixth album "Neon Darkness". Manzana is one of the absolute top female-fronted rock bands in Finland, and has been touring abroad in recent years, as is typical of the scene.Manzana has released five albums, two of which have reached the official Finnish album charts, 14 European tours, hundreds of gigs in Finland, festivals abroad. In 2016, 2017 and 2019, the band also did long tours in China. 2018 saw the release of Manzana's fifth album Silver Metal and the band toured in Europe and China in addition to the constant Finnish gigs. In 2020, just before the coronation, Manzana did a two-week tour in the Balkans.The first radio single Bang Bang Holiday was released on 7 March.The songs on the album were composed during the coronation, which hit the performing arts hard, and a certain gloom and frustration can also be heard in the songs. On the other hand, they are also tinged with a fierce hope that the love of music is always free within a person and cannot be shackled by any means. "In a way, this gig-less misery also confirmed to us that there is still that young person inside who has to play, even if it is alone in the basement," says Manzana singer Piritta Lumous. Even though some colleagues have suffered terrible financial losses, from the point of view of making things, difficulties can sometimes also illuminate a real desire to make things. "Now that you can go to gigs, you do feel grateful."
