Andrea Ranfagni, called "Ranfa" was born in Florence in 1969.He began his career as a singer in 1988 with a group of covers and continues his musical training process, with various groups from the Florentine environment and showing off at various competitions for emerging groups.From 1999 to 2005 he sings in the kaspar Hauser music company, where he plays the role of Rocky in the "Rocky Horror Show" and the role of Jesus in the "Jesus Christ Superstar".In 2000 he performed with Ian Paice in a Deep Purple tribute formation. From there he is recognized as an excellent interpreter of the genre and can boast several collaborations in Italian and Swiss cover bands of Deep purple.In 2004 he had the opportunity to do a mini tour with the same Paice for some dates that will take him for a ride in the most important Italian rock clubs, together with him he performs with a group of excellent tourists, who collaborate with the PFM, Berté, New Trolls, Dolcenera, Carmine Appice, Glenn Hughes, Ken Hensley, Clive Bunker, Joe lynn Turner, Steff Burns etc. In the same year he will also do two dates alongside Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden.The collaboration with these national and international artists makes his idea of making a blues rock album come true and with further collaborations beyond the aforementioned Paice and Marsden in the recordings, there is also the former guitarist of Ronnie James Dio, Tracy G and house of lords singer James Christian. The Italian musicians participating in the recordings of the remaining tracks are current members of UT New trolls (Claudio Cinquegrana), Roberto Tiranti (Labyrinth, New Trolls, Stef Burns, Ken Hensley) and the alternating drummers, in addition to Paice, are respectively the drummer. Toti Denaro (Pippo Pollina) and Mario Marmugi (Nick Becattini, Sergio Montaleni).The album that comes out is a seventies flavor CD, with references to the great bands of the past (Led zeppelin, Free, Deep Purple, Cream etc.) without ever falling into plagiarism.Ranfa band (Ex Purple Sucker) - Deep Purple tribute band and original songs, which boasts many collaborations with Ian Paice, Bernie Marsden, Joe Lynn Turner, Glenn Hughes, Don Airey, Roberto Tiranti and members of Vision Divine.The Trip - Historical group of the seventies prog, led by the great Pino Sinnone. Another group album will be released in April 2020.From August 7, 2016 he joined the Silver Horses, a group from Siena where the legendary Tony Martin plays (Black Sabbath - The Cage - Dario Mollo - Giuntini - Empire - M3 Marsden Moody). on March 9 the video of the song "Heat and snow" was released, taken from the CD Tick which was released on April 21, 2017. Secret Alliance was founded by guitarist Gianluca Galli (Silver Horses & Mantra) initially as his solo project, but found he was wanting to create music with some extra complexity involved. He recruited the incredible Ricardo Confessori (ex-Angra) and fantastic hard rock bassist Tony Franklin to round out the constant members in every song. There are many guest musicians on this futuristic/sci-fi inspired album including Frank Gambale (Chick Corea Band) and Alex Masi. These great musicians create a incredible futuristic world in sound.
