BLACK BONE NATION is a South African Classic Hard Rock band formed in June 2015 in the coastal town of Cape Town - South Africa, by vocalist and bandleader Zakk Styles.The band’s influences have oozed 70's, 80’s and 90's Rock legends including; Led Zeppelin , AC/DC and Guns N' Roses, all the way to new age and current artists such as Rival Sons and Heaven's Basement , as can be heard on their first self-titled EP album "Black Bone Nation", released on 17 March 2018, and being awarded best EP album of the year, as well as winning best single of the year for the track Backseat Lover by Banks Radio Australia.Each Black Bone Nation album is another opportunity to top the one before it, but like AC/DC or The Rolling Stones, BBN isn’t here to reinvent the wheel. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s a brand we can trust. Mighty missives like latest album release 'Born To Rock featuring heavy hitter titles; Born To Rock, Million Miles, Here I Am and Play My Game have amassed thousands of downloads and streams.Black Bone Nation is the walking, talking, living, breathing, fist-pumping embodiment of all that hard rock has encompassed since the movement began. BLACK BONE NATION announced in spring 2019 that they are working on their new full length studio album titled ‘BORN TO ROCK’, and it is finally here!The hard rockers released a fast paced music video on Friday 21 February 2020 for the album single; ‘Born To Rock‘, giving fans a glimpse of what the new album is all about. Of course high-octane rock ‘n roll guitar riffs and fast paced songs are at the top of the list for Black Bone Nation’s newest release.Although the new album ‘Born To Rock’ is only due for worldwide release on 26 March 2020, you can pre-order it on their official BandCamp site and have it shipped to you immediately on the release date.The first international run of the ‘Born To Rock’ album is set to be released as a limited edition dual CD package by their newly signed record label PAINTED BASS RECORDS, and will include the self-titled EP (“Black Bone Nation”) that the band has released in March 2018. Only 200 Copies of this limited edition album will be made available.Not stopping at just a new album, the boys are on their way to Europe to do a 3 week tour in the Netherlands and Belgium in support of their latest album effort.The tour kicks off on 27 March 2020 at the notorious Q-Factory venue in Amsterdam, Netherlands. A special South African show is also planned to end off the tour on 12 April 2020 for all of their fellow South African expats living in Europe.
