CIVIL DAZE is a rock'n'roll band inspired by a lot of the classic rock bands of the 70’s and 80’s. To say that the band “sounds like” Whitesnake, Heart, Gotthard, AC/DC, Vixen, Europe and others would be a lie. But on the other hand you can absolutely hear that this is what the band grew up listening to.The band love both party music and deep soulful music but as they themselves states in their song The Right Kind Of Lovin’: “We bring you songs of love, hate will never be our way”. So, support the band, buy the music, spread the word and say hello at concerts and CIVIL DAZE will try to give as much as they can back to you.

CIVIL DAZE are just another quality new band from Sweden playing the music they love: female-fronted Melodic Hard Rock with an 80s spirit. “A Heart On Display” is the title of their debut, and we are presenting two extra tracks as well.Despite its curious band name (a member was in the Army) and the ‘z’ in DA’Z’E, they are not sleaze / glam at all, but classy hard / melodious mentioning as influence the likes of Vixen, Laos, Heart, Whitesnake, Gotthard, etc.Indeed, you can absolutely hear that this is the kind of music the band grew up listening to. Since opener “The Right Kind Of Lovin’” you know that if you love classic female rock vocals put over melodic sharp guitar riffs then with Civil Daze you are in for a treat.“A Million Miles Away” is the gem of the Stockholm based first release, starting with a wonderful acapella multi-part harmony vocal arrangement developing into a wonderful AOR / Melodic Rock tune.“Face Down in the Dirt (Remix)” rocks with a catchy pulse, “Revolution” puts the pedal to the metal, and “Givin’ It All” soars with trademark Vixen type od punch.
