The band IGNITED started their work in January 2017, with Denis Lima (vocals), Dalton Castro (guitar), Sama Benedet (bass) and Maurício Velasco (drums).Denis, Dalton and Mauricio have been playing for over 10 years and were part of Herege, a band from Rio Grande do Sul that released, in addition to several demos, a self-titled album in 2008, well received by the critics, receiving 9.0 in Roadie Crew ( largest printed vehicle of the musical genre in the country). As well as on the specialized website Collector’s Room. Sama has been playing since the 1990s with several bands and currently at The Beast, a tribute to Iron Maiden, his great inspiration.In order to compose their own material, the band is in the studio recording an EP that will bring 2 songs in order to warm up the engines for a forthcoming album.The theme of the band brings some subjects experienced in real life by each member, such as fun, drunkenness, speed and pursuit of pleasure, maintaining the essence of heavy metal in each note of their songs.
