Legendary '80s the hard rock band from Genoa in Italy.The album will be released on October 15th and marks the return to scene of the HATE, a recently reformed hard metal band from Genoa. It will be titled "" Useful junk "and will contain seven tracks.Recorded at Noize X Studio, with mixing and mastering by Tommy Talamanca of Nadir Studio. "Useful junk" will also be available from October 26 on all major digital platforms, such as spotify, googleplay, amazon, itunes, soundcloud etc ... the band is planning live dates to support the disc.

There was an era, in the mid-80s, where many Italian bands armed with so much enthusiasm and desire to break through, launched themselves into the hard rock market. Many had something to say, many others emerged and disappeared in a blink of an eye. The times were very different from today, arriving at a debut album was almost impossible due to the lack of facilities, labels and high costs in the recording studio. Many relied on recording demo tapes (some very professional, others with unseemly sound quality). Of those who came to the record debut, many have remained semi-unknown, while others are still around. The Hate with two demo tapes aroused the interest of the press and the public, so as to be headlining on various dates (where they had bands like Necrodeath and Sabotage, unforgettable that of Genoa with a record attendance of 700 spectators , and for the time it was an amazing fact). Their success seemed destined to lead to the long-awaited debut album, but the infamous fate subtracted (in 1989) the young guitarist Daniele Ainis from the band, at only 23 years old. The boys lost their enthusiasm and decided not to continue without their friend.However, after almost 30 years, the dream is realized. Found a worthy substitute in Sebastiano "Seba" Rusca, the Hate give birth to "Useful Junk", giving us 7 traces of a pure and pristine old school hard rock. At the level of sound, the album is between the evolution of the Sevastian hard rock and the hair metal phenomenon. We are therefore faced with a genuine and blood product, with a lot of propensity to the melodic lines, which however never result in the banal or clichés typical of street metal."Play It Louder" wipes out the delay by putting in front of a song with the Whitesnake flavor, with the guitars in evidence and a bluestream vein of first quality, where Enzo's beautiful singing shows us his interpretative ability. Abilities that emerge overwhelming in the next "Jenny", with his gait that you place yourself directly in the brain, thanks to the sounds attributable to the great Nazareth. Darker and heavier sounds in "Do The Right Thing" with a great refrain, suffered but of great impact, on the Zeppelin style. Even though Hate recreates like a sound to the sacred rock monsters, they have the great ability to give their compositions a personal imprint, ensuring a stylistic continuity to all the traces of the album."Your Troubles" is still striking for the guitars riff guitar and for his refrain, built specifically to be shouted at fists raised during their lives. The tender and enveloping "Pouring Rain" then highlights the ability to always find first choice melodic solutions, centering the goal of creating a power ballad of yesteryear (imagine a hybrid Great White / Bon Jovi early times). "City Of Dreams" is the first single and therefore contains all the peculiarities that will allow you to love this album, that is: groove, power and melody. "This Game" closes the CD with its wrapping hard & blues and confirms the excellent creativity of the band in writing songs.Despite the title of the cd ("Useful Junk = Useful Junk) tracks contained are anything but" rumenta "(as they say in Genoa), but represent a valuable product that, although not invents anything under the musical profile, is successful in its 40 minutes to give us various emotions. The Hates have finally crowned their dream, but it is only the starting point. We will hear about them, guaranteed!
