Duck Walk Chuck was founded in Sandnes, Norway in 2001. Håkon Rønneberg (guitar) and former members Reid Gramstad (vocals) and Kjetel Idland (guitar) met through an ad in the local newspaper.During a Status Quo concert they agreed to book the first gig, before the band was complete ... Suddenly they hurry to find a bassist and drummer, and they were looking through the local rock pubs, where they found Arvid Thorsen.He knew drummer - Tore Syvaldsen - and the band was complete.Tore was a first that left the band, and Håvard Moe came in 2004 as a new drummer. A few years after it disappeared Reid and Kjetel out of the band, where Kjetil Oliversen and Per Henning Rake came in as new guitarist and vocalist.Shortly after disappeared Per Henning out of the band, which meant that bassist Arvid Thorsen in 2007 also took place as lead singer - after he spontaneously took the role of lead singer in a gig, which came too quickly after the loss of Per Henning.A few years later disappeared Kjetil and Arild Rettore came in 2011 as a new guitarist.Duck Walk has had several gigs over the years - around the country - and shared the stage with bands like Carburetors, Backstreet Girls, Nothing, Bonafide, and last but not least, Quierboys.The band plays hard-hitting rock, with elements of a little blues. Inspired by, among other ACDC, Motörhead, ZZ Top, Rose Tattoo and the like it goes without saying that it is supported by a steady, tight comp, heavy guitars and enherlig rough and raw vocals. This is certainly hard-hitting riff rock!In 2004 came the first CD "Comin 'out blasting" out, followed by "Tombstone Stomp" in 2008 and the EP "Rebel" in 2009. Both previously released CDs have received good reviews on several well-known sites rock, including heavymetal.no , Sleaze Roxx and Rockeweb.
