In the year 2010 Chalice Of Doom was born beneath the sound of the rehearsing, summing up influences from the 90s doom/death metal sound. The melodic visions and the doomy recordings have created a solid will to bring such music to Jordan, challenging the society and the misunderstanding of the atmospheric themes of this music. The number of fans of doom metal in the Middle East has really. Tracks like "Endless Prison" and "To Dust I Shall Return" inspired the band to create the debut album "Immemorial Nightfall" that has been released via Satanarsa Records.Chalice Of Doom's first performance in BLAST NIGHT II (24-08-2012 at Rainbow Theater - Amman) that has been organized by JOSCENE opened the door for a new era in the Jordanian scene since the local government has aborted many metal concerts and banned such events for years, letting the message of the band reach further limits and giving the members more inspiration to start writing new materials.An article by Rolling Stone magazine described the the situation of the band's new direction and its intention to create more doomy/atmospheric music for the second album, and gave some details about one of the tracks that will be covering the local Middle Eastern political situation in a plate of doom/death metal.In the early 2013, Chalice Of Doom has been signed to the Spanish label Memento Mori, and issued an announcement about the guests that will be joining the band's upcoming album, such as:-Roger "Rogga" Johansson (The 11th Hour, Paganizer, Demiurg, ex-Edge Of Sanity,and many more).-Christina Kroustali (Die Verbannten Kinder Evas).-Marius Strand (The Fall Of Every Season)
