SAVOIR FAIRE was originally formed under the name ANGELICA in 1988 by Kevin Cavanaugh (Guitars), Tony Marino (Drums) and Rob Wilkes (Guitars).Kelly Williams joined as the bass player in late 1988 followed by Tracy Shaltis in early 1989 on lead vocals.After having recorded a 2 songs demo (No Strings Attached / This is the End), the band changed their name to SAVOIR FAIRE in early 1990, prior to recording their first proper demo-cassette in 1990 at “Epsilon Studios” in Hamilton, NJ.The band played local shows and toured part of U.S. with their exploding style made of traditional ‘80s Heavy Metal and melodic harmonies, recalling bands like Hellion, Fire, Leatherwolf and Warlock.Following some line-up changes, and the recording of two more songs, SAVOIR FAIRE disbanded in 1992.For the first time, all of the band’s recorded material will be released on the “Lost U.S. Jewels” Series in a strictly 500 copies limited edition, with a fully remastered audio and a nice booklet containing many band’s pics and the story of the band.

Nummer 22 of the "Lost US Jewels" contains the complete material that this New Jersey band ever recorded. The Americans around frontwoman Tracy Shaltis and the guitarists Kevin Cavanaugh und Rob Wilkes add two (live) bonus cuts here. Originally founded in 1988 under the name of ANGELICA, they called it a day in 1992 already which is a pity because the songs come with lots of potential, though. Given the fact that we talk demo tracks here, the sound is not bad. For fans of bands like SARAYA, PRIVATE LIFE, DOKKEN, HELLION and SAHARA.Limited to 500 copies.
