THE RUNAWAY WILD is a solo project by singer/songwriter Jon Siejka, formed in Long Island, NY in 2021.His sound combines the slick production aesthetics of 80s inspired synthwave with the energy and passion of hard rock and AOR music. Lyrical themes draw on the darker edge of 80s music and pop culture, leaning heavily on horror and fantasy films of the decade, giving the music a 'soundtrack' touch.The first full-length album from the new project by Jon Siejka of MAGIC DANCE, whose work has been released on Frontiers Records to critical acclaim from melodic rock fans.This project replaces MAGIC DANCE, which has been inactive for some time, and is a creative outlet for Jon. Style. The hook-laden melodies and gorgeous 80s synth arrangements that have already proven their high songwriting ability during the MAGIC DANCE era are a treat for the ears. Compared to later MAGIC DANCE albums, this one has a more pop approach, so it should be picked up by a wider audience than just melodic hard fans.

We love the horror / slasher flicks elements, synth waves, beats, riffs and powerful vocals. Everything about ”The Runaway Wild” feels so authentic and a homage to past we loved.Great Eighties-style rock with glitter, glamour and fun lyrics.
