Out of the way, here come WHY AMNESIA! Really, with their black leather jackets, denim waistcoats and dark retro sunglasses, they have a bit of a biker gang about them. Which somehow fits, because their music is the perfect soundtrack for a motorbike tour over dusty tracks: fast-paced drum rhythms, tight basslines, powerful, partly grungy electric guitar riffs and a female voice that easily switches between whiskey pipes and ballad-like tones, only to heat up again right after...After "STEREO" (2012), "GODIVA" (2015) and "JACKS'N'HEARTS" (2020), the Jack Rockers are back in 2023 with their album "ANGELS' SHARE" - and it truly leaves little to be desired: From quiet ballads to stomping rock songs, and even the one or other blues borrowing is included! The mood of the songs is sometimes serious, sometimes sad, often sexy, motivating or stirring - and yet the quintet from the Ruhr area still sounds like the "Jack Rock" so named after them. And the "sip for the angels" ... at least three of the five out themselves as high-fantasy fans ... you can't leave this motif reduced to whiskey like that!? So it's no wonder that one or the other mystical element has found its way into the album and the songs. And with "Lightning Strikes", Greta will probably also agree with a benevolent nod of the head...

Which is somehow fitting, as their music is the perfect soundtrack for a long ride on a winding and dusty road: Fast-paced drumming, straight basslines, powerful guitar riffs und a female voice that easily switches from whiskey to balladesque tones and then back again, just to turn up the heat a little more ... Following STEREO (2012), GODIVA (2015) and JACKS ́N ́HEARTS (2018/2020), WHY AMNESIA are back in November 2022 with their single release „POUR ME A WHISKEY“ and give a first taste of their new album which will be released in 2023. „POUR ME A WHISKEY“ is just the right companion in a dimly lit bar where you sit and relax with your best friends after a more or less successful day. Because much more than just about whiskey, the song is about the liberating power of friendship and music. And after all it is not only a homage to our beloved golden brown liquor, but also reminds - in the best sense and equally with the accompanying video - of the times before and around the turn of the millennium, when rock ballads were played with loud guitars and videos were telling stories ...
