Norwegian band founded 2007.Having worked 5 years on their debut album, Dirt Inc are now ready to release their first single “Jenna Jameson” on February 8 2013. This will be the first of many single releases in 2013.Recorded in Gothenburgs Svenska Grammofonstudion with producer John Agnello (Madrugada, Turbonegro) “Jenna Jameson” is a groovy rock song in strong relation to Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” and Guns N Roses “Mr.Brownstone”, fronted with a Beastie Boys Vs. Pantera-like battlerap. Aimed towards the established world of fashion, and its effect on the music business revolving door of pre-designed shooting stars performing fresh flavor of the month style of music, “Jenna” is a lyrical outbreak of frustration that can be felt when daring to go your own way at the expense of political correctness, integrity and timely presence in terms of style and expression.The band has deliberately kept a low profile in wait for the single and album release, but are now signaling that they may have come stay for a while, says vocalist Lars Eriko:“Having worked the songs through and through over the last years and eventually established the ‘Dirt Inc. sound’, we now feel confident to finally unleash our monster.” – Lars Eriko“We have enough material for two full albums and aim to release new singles every 2-3 months the following 3 years. We are constantly working on new material, and notice a very interesting development in our songwriting skills. It remains to be seen whether the audience likes us, but it feels good to have found a way to create something that is 100% us”.The rest of the band is Torgeir Apalset and Christoffer Wøien on guitars, bassist Paul Magne Lillerovde and drummer Stian Myhre.Dirt Inc. will mark the release with their first official gig at ‘Gamla Beat Bar’ in Oslo february 8th 2013.
