Bio:
High energy, hard hitting, melodic rock songs from a young and hungry Tulsa, Oklahoma band. With one foot firmly in the dirty gutter of street level hard rock, and one foot in the melodic metal sky, this is a fresh sound for today from a different era that never becomes too polished or processed with modern production.Crimson Love brings the noise and the energy; from their live performances, to their releases! Stay tuned for more music on the way from “Crimson Love”!
Album:
Hailing from the American Mid-West, CRIMSON LOVE are releasing their full-length debut album entitled ”Lost Cause”.Fast! Loud! And In Your Face! – those are the words this five‑piece chose to give a glimpse of what their music is all about. And they are right. The guys from Tulsa mention that CRIMSON LOVE’s groovy, riff-driven sound is heavily inspired by 80s acts like Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, L.A. Guns, Black Sabbath.Well, we hear other influences as well, but one thing is for sure; ”Lost Cause” delivers energetic and unapologetic rock n’ roll with an unmistakable 1987-1993 American sound. The album is propelled by a sharp twin guitar tandem very melodic all the way, strong powerful vocals and that catchy Melodic Hard Rock rhythm section. These dudes are good writing cool hooks and melodies. Some examples? Opener ‘Through Your Lies’ has some XYZ in its chorus, then ‘Unfazed’ rocks like an angry Skid Row circa 1988, and we hear on ‘Pay for My Love’ dynamics similar to Extreme.‘L.A. (Save Me)’ is a serious kick ass number with a busy instrumentation akin Mr. Big, while ‘Quick and Easy’ brings to mind Ugly Kid Joe a bit. Another favorite is ‘Shoot to Kill’, a heavy rocker with a cadence (not the style) similar to Quiet Riot. With a polished vibrant production ”Lost Cause” is a varied, very strong debut from this new young outfit CRIMSON LOVE. The band already performed in the prestigious Rocklahoma Music Festival and are ready for bigger things.
