Synthwave duo comprised of Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter & producer Tim McEwan and New York-based singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle. The Midnight project is their attempt to put time under glass, producing '80s influenced Synthwave, Dreamwave, Retrowave. The duo had their first release in 2014 with the 'Days Of Thunder' EP. 2016 saw the release of their first full length album - 'Endless Summer', while their next 'Nocturnal' EP arrived in October 2017.

2CD deluxe edition with bonus CD.A deluxe version of Syndicate will be released on May 15, 2026.Second The Midnight album to receieve a reissue following the 5 Year Anniversary Edition release of Endless Summer in 2021. In addition to the original album, the deluxe version contains the Chromeo Remix of Love is an Ocean, the Drive405 remix of Runaways (winner of the song's remix contest), a new vocal version of First Night in Paris titled Last Night in Paris, and three demos of previously unreleased songs that were in consideration for Syndicate. The deluxe edition also features new cover art, which appears to be a 2D and more abstract version of the original artwork. It is currently unknown whether the deluxe version will receive a physical release.
