Rash Panzer is playing heavy, hard and powerful rock music since 1979.After their single in 1984 «Heavy Leaders» they released their first EP «Rock ‘n Roll Street» in 1988, produced by Dennis Weinreich (Jeff Beck, Procol Harum etc). They toured the East Coast in 1989 and made their way into the US Charts. Back in Europe, they recorded the album «Rated X», produced by Rudy Lenners (SCORPIONS).In 1991, after playing at l’Usine in Geneva, they recorded the live album «Wild, Raw and Live».In 2013 Rash Panzer released the album «Back on the Rocks», again with Denis Weinreich.In 2022, Rash Panzer chose REC Studio with producer Serge Morattel (Lofofora, Knut …) to record their album "Liberation" in 2023, just before getting signed by famous german label 7HARD.Since November, they released 3 singles-video-clips : "Reason", "Rock On" & "Wild Roses", while they've got back with Serge Morattel to record the new EP to be released in 2024: "Born to Rock'n Roll".

Swiss band Rash Panzer released their 3rd studio album Liberation in early 2023. This band, born in 1979, also released their first single Heavy Leaders / Rash Boys in 1984 (with the participation of Nono and Farid from Trust), a second EP in 1988 entitled Rock'n Roll Street and 2 studio albums in 1990 with Rated X and in 2013 with Back On The Rocks. A live album at the Usine de Genève was also released in 1991: Wild, Raw And Live. Led by vocalist Jay Guertchakoff, Rash Panzer is made up of guitarist Renato Dani, bassist Renato di Paolo and drummer Thierry Wetzel (Backwater), and offers a powerful rock sound drawn from their 80's roots that won't leave anyone indifferent. Yours truly has fallen under its spell, with its devastating, sharp, modern edge that will propel them to the forefront of the scene, thanks also to Renato Dani's raw but effective pre-production.12 tracks for Liberation, with a very rocking opener, "Easy Lovin, Easy Livin", which literally explodes with JJay Guertchakoff's exciting, snarling vocals. His musicians give him a hell of a lot of support, and the rhythmics are insane, so the tone is set for an ever-increasing level of Rock pleasure. The omnipresent guitars send shivers down your spine, and this continues with the very Classic Rock, the aptly named "Rock On", straight out of the 80's: superb! But Rash Panzer is not content with this rock music, the band also explores and with "Freewill", it's heavy, punchy and this dark, even Heavy, side is really one of their characteristics, in a word terrible. This is followed by the powerful, heart-rending "Rock Save My Soul", in the same vein, with its cutting guitars.Another turn is taken with "No Way", reminiscent of Elvis Presley, JJay Guertchakoff's voice adapting to this new challenge with ease, rhythm, enthusiasm and Thierry Wetzel's absolutely insane drumming. With "Testament", a rather heavy but high-energy mid-tempo, Rash Panzer brings the 1st half to a close in impeccable fashion, with JJay Guertchakoff's vocal performance once again in top form, not forgetting Renato Dani's crazy guitars, again and again marvellous. Then there's some real rock with "Reason", with its frenzied rhythm and heady melody.Rash Panzer don't just rack up the good points on Liberation, their rock is modern, pure and damn bewitching, witness the cool, intimate "Wild Roses", which shows off the band's songwriting ability in another register, the stirring "Riding High", with its thrilling rock, followed by the album's title track, "Liberation", a real rock anthem, with totally unleashed musicians, what a liberation!And Rash Panzer's power doesn't let up with the last 2 tracks, which compete with each other in terms of power: "The Power Of Light" and "Shiny Eyes" bring an imposing close to a terribly effective album, with sharp riffs and an incredible rock flavour. Liberation is a real discovery and a real favorite. Simply breathtaking!
