Bio:
Cain's Dinasty borns in Summer'06. From the beginning the band had a vocation for certain vampiric look and a dark thematic in its songs, which will be evolving to become a recognizable and personal charasteristic of the band..Between the biggest achievements of the band we can emphasize having shared stage with bands consecrated like Coz, Gamma Ray, Metallium, Warcry, Azrael, etc. having played for more than 2000 people in some of these concerts, and receiving good critics by the energy of its live performances. At the moment the band has published 2 discs, both distributed internationally; first "Legacy of Blood" was edited in June 2008 by the French seal "Melodica Records" who at the same time would sign an agreement with the company Spiritual Beast Records to distribute the album in Japan, Hong Kong, China, Korea, and Taiwan. The disc in addition is displayed in French festival Hellfest, and the band has some appearances in radio programs and specialized press like BURNN in Japan, Metal Hammer in Spain and METAL OBS in France. This one was indeed the disc that would take the band to tour outside our borders, crossing France during 10 days, playing in the main cities along with the popular French band "Black Rain".Second disc, "Madmen, Withes & Vampires" was realeased in all the world in December 2010 under the japanese label Red Rivet Records..We’ve three studio albums released distributed internationally:“Legacy of Blood” 2008.“Madmen, Witches & Vampires” 2010.“The Hollow Earth” 2015.
Album:
"The Witch & The Martyr" is the new full-length album from Alicante's Cain's Dinasty, which becomes the fifth of their career and whose release date is scheduled for April 5th. This album is the continuation of the previous one, "EVA", released in 2018. The songs on this new album not only tell a story, but also have a lot of meaning for everyday life.As an intro, we hear The Rising: Renegades, a very short passage, which serves to give way to the next track; although it will not be the only one, as throughout the album, we will hear some more like The Past: Dark Lullaby, The Awakening: Ritual and The Mourning: King's Death. We continue with Wanderer, a song "about fitting in with others, and that no matter how weird you feel, you can always find people to lean on. It's also about the rebelliousness of youth, and not letting power intimidate you without thinking too much about the consequences". Cain's Dinasty, accompany this message with a portentous instrumental with strings playing the leading role, sounding with admirable strength and vigour. Moreover, its accelerated rhythms and a sonority impregnated by the best essence of Power, are elements that conquer you instantly, inciting you to continue listening to the rest of the album. It is followed by Two Graves, a track in which V Stone, Mind Driller's vocalist, collaborates. Through a more powerful and fortified sound, the band gives shape to concepts such as "anger, our inner demons and revenge. Of wise counsel silenced by rancour and buried by pride; fuelled by the blood and suffering of others". For me, it is one of the best songs of their new full-length, as you can appreciate from the beginning to the end of it the growth of the band on a compositional level. The fifth place is reserved for Pure Evil. In this case, Cain's Dinasty, bring to light their most powerful and combative side as well as their most experimental. An agile contrast in the rhythms transport us through diverse soundscapes in which they never lose the strength of the beginning, and they also provide some very enigmatic touches in the fragments that require it. In this way, they provide a soundtrack to Evil, "that sometimes evil can be pure and have no explanation".We arrive at Red Moon, the song that has served as a preview of the album. It talks about "the willpower to break the spell of everything that has us hypnotised in this world, from fake news to our own addictions. The same red light that radiates from the moon that controls you, can be strong enough to make you wake up". For this, they delight us with a very calm and melodious introduction, to later break into an intense and energetic sonority in equal parts. It is one of the songs in which we will glimpse a wild band, but one that knows very well what they do. Notes full of acometivity but slightly influenced by some very subtle Power tints, and the appearance of some more atmospheric parts, provide the band with an exquisite sound quality. It is another of the gems we can listen to on this album. The momentum keeps rising with March Of The Dead being, perhaps, one of the most powerful tracks of the full-length. Cain's Dinasty demonstrate, once again, their great skills when it comes to creating compositions with a special hook. The argument chosen for this track has been "automatons who see no further than the desire to feed and spread their infection. Manipulable minds that are comfortable leaving the reins of their lives to the opinions and criteria of idols who profit from them, and gawk behind a glass screen that keeps them in the dream of a perfect world". Vacío is the only song in the band's mother tongue. It is also one of the most passionate, especially vocally, where we can appreciate a splendid Rubén Picazo with an incredible fibre in his vocal chords, while he is accompanied by exuberant guitars. The whole ensemble maintains the "desire for intimacy" of the lyrics, which deal with "the restlessness of insomnia and the questions that haunt you when you can't sleep".All the calmness of the previous track is broken by the ferocity of Blood For Blood, where we will see again a warrior band full of vigour at all times. With such a complex concept that talks about "a world that you adapt to, but you always ask yourself the same question: What am I doing here?"; the band from Alicante comes with all the meat on the grill, to make us enjoy the best of their essence, captured in each of the notes of this cut very well influenced by their Power Metal so full of life. On the other hand, Martyr, is about that path after "the loss of a father or a mother from denial to acceptance". For this, their wildest and most powerful side shines again, where the instruments are the ones that stand out completely, even leaving sometimes, the melodious voice in the background, where the rawness of the guttural is accentuated, which brings those epic and dark tints. Finally, the band makes us dig "between good and bad memories, in which you understand that there is no one without the other, and embrace the darkness that has made you learn to accept your past, value your present, and look forward to the future". In this way, lyrics are added to Strong Again, which makes us enjoy its imposing energy, culminating in a plethoric chorus of unparalleled verve. Undoubtedly, it is a closing song in style and, of course, leaves a good taste in the mouth. There is no doubt that we are before the peak of the career of the band from Alicante, Cain's Dinasty. "The Witch & The Martyr", is an album that hooks you with each of the cuts, the compositions captivate you, they have an incredible musical quality, all the elements combined to perfection.
