Strain of Madness is loud, dirty and handmade rock from Bern. Founded in 2010, the band has survived several line-up changes and has found its style in the now final formation. The debut album "Dancing with the Dead", released in January 2015, was recorded in autumn 2014 at Little Creek Studio Gelterkinden and produced by V.O. Pulver. The sound ranges from fast, sweaty, to ponderous, melancholic pieces. But all in the unmistakable SoM handwriting, with catchy guitar riffs and sharp rhythms.

This is also reflected in the songs, which contain the most diverse elements from many varieties of R&R. Basically always hard, loud and dirty rock which sometimes sounds like metal, sometimes like garage or stoner rock.After an intensive songwriting phase, several concerts, various changes in the line-up and a forced interruption due to a fire at the rehearsal venue, the band is now definitely formed and ready to storm the stages with a repertoire of about 30 original songs.
