PEARLz is a modern female-fronted rock band with a lot of kick in the basement. Musically, fans of Van Halen and Slash, but also Eric Clapton and other rock and hard rock house acts are welcome to put their ears in the strong hands of lead guitarist and bandleader Kevin Kurtz. Kurtz produced the debut album "Feel Fine" (2021) on his own and got Jürgen Heuwetter on bass and Jos Langer on drums to join the rhythm section of the band. Here, real people still play their instruments, which is also important for the kind of rock Pearlz makes: dynamic, raw, dirty hard rock with strong solos and expansive riffs. Singer Sandy Müller is at the forefront and ennobles every song with her versatile voice. Whether it's a soulful ballad or a stadium anthem, this woman nails every note directly into the listener's heart with lyrics that are straight from today's life. From a strange time between self-realisation at any price and the attempt to somehow hold one's emotions together. Sometimes from a bird's eye view, sometimes from the depths of one's own soul and sometimes just to celebrate life itself!

Great debut album.The roots of the music can be attributed to the hard rock of the 80s, which is confirmed by the clearly audible influences of bands and musicians such as Van Halen, Giant, Billy Idol, Slash, Eric Clapton, Steve Lukather and many more. Nevertheless, Kevin's love for anime and its intros can also be found in the songs, resulting in a unique blend of heroic vintage hard rock. The lyrics are straight from contemporary life, sometimes from a bird's eye view, sometimes from the depths of one's own soul and sometimes just to celebrate life itself. The debut album "feel fine" was born out of a strange time between self-realisation at all costs and the attempt to somehow hold one's emotions together. A tour is currently being planned.
