Scattered Hamlet is a four-piece hard rock/southern rock band formed in 2010 when lead vocalist Adam Joad created the original blueprint for the band with help from Otep guitarist Ari Mihalopoulos."It’s honky tonk metal, like you took a handful of cheap trucker speed and headed out on the warpath” is how Scattered Hamlet describes their musical style. Created to capture the essence of growing up in the country while giving nods to the original classic rock and outlaw country pioneers, Scattered Hamlet is one part Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet featuring heavy rock elements from Motorhead to Down. According to Sleaze Roxx, “Scattered Hamlet’s influences range from southern rock to groove metal to doom metal with the attitude of punk rock.” With humble origins all across the US and a relentless touring schedule of 150+ shows a year visiting 40 + states, the band makes no apologies for the equal love of Harley Davidsons, honky tonks, Les Pauls, Marshalls, shotguns and classic American symbolism. Their most recent full length album, "Swamp Rebel Machine," was produced by Jake Rodenhouse and two time grammy nominated Jason Donaghy ( Rob Zombie, John 5, Band of Horses +Murder Dolls) and mastered by legend Howie Weinberg (Pantera, Slayer, White Zombie + Danzig). The band has amassed a strong underground following called“Hell Riders” who maintain their own “chapters” (fan clubs) independent of the band.Scattered Hamlet was featured on the mainstage at the Buffalo Chip (2018) in Sturgis as direct support for Kid Rock and Lita Ford. Their song, "Shelter," was included in 2018 Nascar Heat Heat (video game). The band has made three appearances at Rocklahoma being selected as one of the top 5 second stage acts (2012/2014/2015), Van’s Warped Tour (2018), Rockfest (Cadott, WI 2017/2019), A2 Festival (Michigan), SXSW, Hogrock Motorcycle Festival (IL), LocoFest (IA), The White Trash Bash (TX), done product demonstrations at the Anaheim NAMM show and has toured as direct artist support for Jason Charles Miller (Godhead) and Gypsyhawk (Metalblade) on full US Tours. The band also independently headlines US tours and has supported Supersuckers, Michale Graves (Misfits), Jackyl, Alien Ant Farm, 12 Stones, Wayland, Genitorturers, Texas Hippie Coalition, Tracii Guns and the Alex Skolnick Trio in addition to being featured at festivals alongside Black Label Society, Down, Avenged Sevenfold, Clutch, Kill Devil Hill, Kid Rock, Mushroomhead, Taproot, Smile Empty Soul, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Andrew WK, Five Finger Death Punch and Hed Pe.

The new album Stereo Overthrow follows an already comprehensive discography from the four-piece straight out of the hills of Appalachia.Scattered Hamlet’s Stereo Overthrow will be released on the 12th November 2021 via Buck Moon Productions.Spitting and snarling, Scattered Hamlet are unleashing their anger and annoyance in head-banging, energetic style. Stereo Overthrow is a hard rock album but the punk spirit of the band shines through and they are certainly making their feelings clear here.Fun? Hell yeah. It’s 10-tracks of groovy, bluesy Americana rock played by a band capable of making that sound authentic and interesting. It’s what they do and Stereo Overthrow is a continuation of that. No-nonsense and unforgiving, the music might have groove but the lyrics are making sharp and pointed comments. Good for them. Scattered Hamlet are pissed off, as many are, about how things have been over the last year.Don’t worry though, it’s not overly political and nor is it an album only in existence for Scattered Hamlet to air their grievances. It has a more nuanced and subtle approach… mostly.Regardless of the lyrical content, Scattered Hamlet are also more than happy to let their music do the talking and talk does it do. From the barbed punk rock energy of the title track, to the foot-tapping beat of Locked and Loaded, to the defiant Don’t Tread on Me and the moodier and impactful finale of See You in Hell. This is an album that doesn’t just speak… it shouts.
