David Ellefson - From humble farm roots in rural Minnesota, David Ellefson has come a long way, literally and figuratively, to conquering stages around the World as bassist of thrash metal titans MEGADETH. Revered for his unique, hard-hitting playing style, and unwavering dedication to his musical craft, Ellefson has woven a vast professional tapesty as a bassist, songwriter, record producer, clinician and author. As a member of MEGADETH, he has been awarded 10 Grammy nominations, countless gold & platinum records and toured the world for the better part of 3 decades.In addition to Megadeth, David has lent his playing and writing abilities to several other recording and touring projects including Soulfly, F5, Temple of Brutality, Altitudes and Attitude (With Frank Bello of Anthrax) and Metal Allegiance, the "supergroup" formed by Mark Menghi with David, Mike Portnoy, and Alex Skolnick who released their eponymous debut in 2015 on Nuclear Blast.Ellefson who holds a Bachelor's degree in business marketing and continues to lecture on a variety of music and business related topics, has also ventured out into other related forays, as president of record label EMP Label Group (Ellefson Music Productions), and with his own coffee brand Ellefson Coffee Co.

Jeff Scott Soto (born November 4, 1965) is an American rock singer of Puerto Rican descent.He is best known for being the vocalist on Yngwie Malmsteen's first two albums, and the lead vocalist for Journey on their 2006–2007 tours. He also had a long tenure as the frontman of hard rock band Talisman. Currently he works as solo artist, with his self-named band SOTO and as the vocalist of supergroups W.E.T., Sons of Apollo and Trans Siberian Orchestra.His style ranges from hard rock to power metal, being influenced by classic soul singers as Sam Cooke as well as Journey's Steve Perry, and Freddie Mercury of Queen.

In a partnership that has been years in the making, Grammy Award winning bassist David Ellefson and acclaimed metal vocalist Jeff Scott Soto have joined forces for an all-new collaboration, Ellefson-Soto. The band follows the tradition of successful individuals who joined forces to create memorable music: David Coverdale & Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi & Glenn Hughes, Tommy Shaw & Jack Blades and Michael Sweet & George Lynch to name but a few examples. The metal duo is joined by Andy Martongelli on guitar and keys and Paulo Caridi on drums to unleash their debut album "Vacation In The Underworld". The album features eleven tracks and three bonus recordings that demonstrate why Ellefson-Soto are considered legends by many in the metal world. From the fiery guitar lead of the album opener "Vacation In The Underworld" to the prog metal fury of closer "Rise To Win", Ellefson-Soto have created a debut that is sure to capture metal fans from all over the globe. Combining different styles of metal, songs like "Sharpen The Sword", "The Revolution" and "Live To Die Another Day" showcase the various influences Ellefson-Soto have picked up over their four decades in music. Jade Etro from the Italian power metal band Frozen Crown makes a guest appearance on "The Day Before Tomorrow". Steve Conley and Ken Mary from Flotsam And Jetsam perform on the title track "Vacation In The Underworld". "Vacation In The Underworld" ignites an inimitable hybrid of thrash firepower, rock swagger and anthemic arena-ready thunder.

Produced by Chris Collier (Mick Mars, Korn, Flat Black) "Unbreakable" is a sonic assault packed with catchy riffs, melodic vocals, and thoughtful lyrics that blends their classic metal roots with modern rock intensity.
