Band Of Brothers is a music project by members from Angeline and Hion Martell. The first album is now finished and will be released in may 2015.The members of this band have been playing in several other bands since the mid 80’s. Even back then the members played together in a short lived cover act. Christer has his own band "Hion Martell" and both Jocke and Uffe have played together in a band called "Angeline". Jocke has since been in a number of other bands and is also working as a professional song writer.The idea of this band started out in mars 2006 when Uffe and Christer met for lunch. Uffe had some songs and ideas and Christer was interested to give it a try. Christer got a cd of the raw tracks and then went back home to work on some melodies and lyrics - within a few weeks the cd came back with a stunning result. Uffe thought that this was too good to end here and that’s when the BAND OF BROTHERS was born.After a little more than 6 months Jocke Nilsson was asked to join the band. His talent and knowledge has taking it to the next level.Christer’s brother Håkan was asked to play the drums on a couple of tracks and we have also brought in former Angeline drummer Tobbe Jonsson to the band.We are constantly writing new songs so keep your eye on this site or vist our official homepage for updates.

Five years after their self titled debut album Swedish rockers Band of Brothers are back.The full length follow up, simply titled ‘II‘ (i.e. 2), will be released in August.As a teaser the single ‘No Place For the Broken Hearted‘ will be available for download and streaming Friday July 3rd.The band started out as a song writing experiment between bass player Ulf Nilsson and singer Christer Nilsson, with some 20 plus demos sent back and forth from Ulf’s home in Gothenburg and Christer’s home at the time, the small mid-Swedish town of Ljusdal.Soon Ulf’s brother, guitar player and producer Jocke Nilsson, got involved, improving the songs and adding exquisite guitar work. When drummer Tobbe Jonsson joined the ranks, the band was complete.The debut album was released on all major platforms in June 2015, and an EP followed the year after. In the spring of 2020 work began on a new album.
