Started as a Death SS tribute band named Deathless. They had to change name in 2013 because of copyright/homonymy issues, thus the addition of "Legacy".Italy’s Deathless Legacy introduce themselves as monsters on stages and in souls.As a grotesque shocking occult female fronted metal band, they wear they alter egos’ costumes and manners, spitting blood and biting the air with bestial fierce as the ultimate monsters worshipping the most powerful satanic forces. From the heart of Italy, horror metallers Deathless Legacy combine hard symphonic solutions and fickle intense vocals to enhance the occult, horror dark themes. Formed in 2006 by singer Steva (Eleonora Vaiana) and drummer Frater Orion (Andrea Falaschi), the band has always been focused on offering to their audience spectacular shows, introducing theatrical performances filled with pathos. In 2014 Alessio Lucatti (Vision Divine, Angra, Etherna) joined the band and in 2015 Deathless Legacy won the Italian Wacken Metal Battle. In August, the band brought their horror show at Wacken Open Air. Deathless Legacy have found their rhythm with a highly intensive musical production focused on extremely occult themes. The band has released six albums: Rise From the Grave (2014), The Gathering (2016), Dance with Devils (2017), Rituals of Black Magic (2018), Saturnalia (2020), an experimental 24-minutes rock opera, the vinyl "Legion of the Night", featuring Steve Sylvester - leader, soul, and founder of the cult horror metal band Death SS (2021), and "Mater Larvarum (2022).

Your ghostly horror metal purveryors .."Mater Larvarum" marks the sixth seal of the Deathless Legacy discography in the ghostliest way ever. Musically, the record ranges from classic heavy metal to gothic, symphonic and progressive metal, featuring sensual high and low female vocals and, as usual, some amazing atmospheric keyboards and orchestrations. This time the story of the concept album brings us in a world of feminine fierceness, creepy silences and shadows arising from the underground. It's a velvet-like, sexy and frightening feeling - something so powerful to twist your soul and forever paint it black.Hailing from the region Pisa/Livorno, Tuscany Deathless Legacy is a quintet that specializes in horror and the supernatural. Mater Larvarum (their Sixth!) is an epic tale of the feminine arising from the underground.Upon first listening, you can quite escape how American this record sounds. It’s large, bombastic, and chock full of great riffs as ‘’Queen of the Infernal Pantheon’’ delivers. “Altar of Bones” is a seductive tale of horror with its memorable if familiar refrain, a slow-burning anthem of song that highlights Steva’s sultry vocals that are tough yet seductive. “Moonless Night” piles on the atmosphere with its keyboards and haunting choir-esque moments, the riffs large as the vocals again deliver another tale of horror and darkness, its heavy metal meets gothic with elements of the progressive, this is the stuff of romantic nightmares and seductive vampirism. “The Coven” speaks for itself, energetic yet familiar tales of dread and the chant of ‘’666’’. “Fade into the Dark ‘’ pours on the atmosphere before launching into more grandeur and some great keyboard, and guitar interplay. “Hollow” is yet another ode to the dark and a pure old-school hard rock/metal anthem.Mater Larvarum is the strongest chapter in the band’s style of “Horror Occult Metal” their aesthetic lures you in and the musicianship on display is undeniable. It is all spectacle oozing in style best played with a candle in the dark on a cold winter’s night.
