Bio:

Ex-Danger is a Hard Rock / Heavy Metal band from Japan. They released one full length album in the year 1986 before they split up. An unlucky band that emerged in the mid-eighties in Yamaguchi, a Japanese city without too much metal tradition, at least I do not know and my word is the law. Two of their songs appeared in a compilation, that was their biggest success, unfortunately, the band did not eat a fucking thread, they wanted to make a simple mix of various styles, trying to cover two areas that have nothing to do with each other. another: Speed metal and traditional hard rock to deep purple, Raimbow...the result is this chaotic work.Compilation Appearances - "Imagination Break Down" and "Silence of Night" on Metal Warning (Vice, 1987).

Album:

Debut album.Originally released on LP in 1987 with different front cover.Remastered and reissued on CD in 2008 through Scotti Bros. records.A Japanese band that independently released only 1 album and in 2008 it was released on CD on the big Scotti Bros label.Although with a different cover (a fantasy-like drawing of a tough warrior who attacks a dragon), but as a low-budget edition without OBI.Melodic hard rock with a clear keyboard input in a serving role.Sound technically a bit of a knit, but that does not matter because the songs and performance are fine. All the same in 1986, according to the unwritten melodic hard rock rules of the time.Solo here, quiet in between there and now and then some uptempo like in the opener "Rock Kingdom".Singer Yuzo Shimazaki drowns a bit in the whole, he also sings a bit forced but is tonal with an occasional wonderfully wrong swipe."Dead Point" is a bit unwieldy, but the Earthshaker-like solo of guitarist Seiji Yoshimi may be there.Accelerate it in "Get It Makin 'Time", it all sounds very nice.Keyboardist Kazuhiro Nakatake is a bit more prominent in "Midnight Angel" which sometimes reminds me of Rainbow, the fastest song so far.Again mid-tempo in "Burning Generation" with enough variation, the level remains high.Highlight is "1999 (From Final Planet)" has a nice structure and is epic and somewhat bombastic at the same time.

Yuzo Shimazaki - Vocals
Yukio Yamane - Bass
Kiyoyuki Suminaka - Drums
Seiji Yoshimi - Guitars - See also: ex-Douka
