Although the band Heart of Chrome was founded in October 2012 by drummer Luke TheBullet and guitarist Chris Gibson, she need never be stamped as a newcomer. Just as the founders are also singer Dan Reed and the man at the four string Chris Traynor experienced musicians who have gained experience in a variety of Bands- and music projects before the band's formation. This fact, as well as a good dose of labor and devotion, it is due to that the rock quartet has achieved a remarkable and varied setlist, which was already in the middle of 2013 presented to the public.Musically Heart of Chrome offers everything a rocker heart; distorted electric guitars are paired with grooving rhythms and rich bass rounded off by a distinctive voice. Effortless classic rock elements are combined with modern songwriting and thus provide a distinctive rock sound that knows how to please. For the band, it's not about reinventing the wheel, but the passion for music and to present them accordingly.After the end of March 2013, the first demo disc was completed in-house, a short time later were already played their first shows and soon the whole band was clear that this was only the beginning. That same year, followed by other concerts, including open-air shows like the 'Wood Rock Festival' on the Dobel or 'rock in forest' Festival in Malsch. In the tape samples was always continued to polish up new material, so that the four musicians went in December 2013, a fine selection of songs into the studio to record their first LP. This much is certain, the publication of the silver disc will not be the only highlight in 2014.

Since 2012, the Pforzheim HEART OF CHROME already exists. After at least three EPs, they are now debuting with "To The The Bone". A total of eleven pieces made it to the first full-fledged album - and these cover a really nice musical range. The influences range from AEROSMITH to GUNS N 'ROSES to NICKELBACK. That the quartet does not reinvent the proverbial wheel would not necessarily have to be mentioned in my own bio.Because where some old heroes meanwhile falter a bit or let themselves with new material in coming, it is nice that there are bands like HEART OF CHROME, which simply rock it honestly and present it also appealingly good own music. The self-addressed passion can be felt in each individually played note, and whether hard rock is delivered with roasting guitars or a sensitive ballad.After the umpteenth run of "To The Bone", I ask myself the question, why no label got bitten.
