The heavy metal band Legions was formed in 2000 with the lineup: Ante-guitar and vocals, Putte-guitar, Johan-b ass and Malte-drums. They recorded the 5 track demo “WHEN DEATH IS CALLING YOU”. In late 2001 the high-pitch metal vocalist Kjelle joined Legions, they recorded a 3 track demo “TURN IT ON”. When Johan and Malte decided to leave the band in the summer 2002 Legions changed name to EVIL CONSPIRACY. The former “Nugatory” and “All Orange” drummer Veikko joined the band along with the bass-guitar playing maniac Martin from “Phobos” and “Wish”. They recorded the demos “DISAPPEAR” in 2003 “TOOLS OF EVIL” in 2004 and “EVIL COMES TO TOWN” in 2005. The first gig took place in Örebro Sweden when Evil Conspiracy opened up for Lost Horizon at their tour premier… A few more gigs and a lot of fans more Evil Conspiracy was one of the headline acts at the Wretstock festival. In the early 2004 Evil Conspiracy was the supporting act at “Dionysus” release party in Örebro, and received outstanding rewiews from the audience. At early spring of 2005 Kjelle decided to leave the band, so they contacted Stefan Berglund from the Swedish doom-metal act MEMORY GARDEN.The first gig with Stefan was in dec 2005 when they were the supporting act for the Swedish metal band NOCTURNAL RITES, and to tell you the truth it was a blast with Stefan on stage. And then they released the promo-cd “THE PLAGUE” with Mike Wead ( king diamond, memento mori, candlemass…) and Simon Johansson ( Memory garden, Fifth reason, Abstarkt Algebra and more…..) as the producers. And in june 2006 Stefan Berglund decided to join the band fulltime. In the fall of 2006 they supported big acts like EVERGREY and SABATON. In early 2008 they decided to move on without Stefan, he had too much to deal with in his other band MEMORY GARDEN, he just doesn’t had the time needed from a vocalist. After some searching for a replacement they got in contact with a guy called Morgan, he was the singer in CRYSTAL BLUE in the 90’s. And he was now the singer in this absolutely awesome band until the end of 2008. They only did one show with Morgan in Motala in the spring of 2008! In the end of 2008 they had to let him go due to many different circumstances. In the beginning of 2009 Vekki asked Fredrik “frippe” Eriksson known from the Thrash band CHAIN OF HATE if he was interested in singing in EC! After a while he came down and sang some songs, and to make a short story even shorter they asked him right away if he wanted to join!! And he did! In 2009 they finally recorded the vocals for the new songs and the promo was out in nov!! The first gig with Frippe took place in Örebro nov 13th! They supported the mighty WOLF!! The audience loved it and saluted Frippes vocals! In early 2014 they signed a contract with Sliptrick record.The debut album "PRIME EVIL" was released July 1th 2014. And after great reviews they started to record a new album in the vinter of 2016/2017.The new album is named "evil comes". Release date feb 19th 2019.

On Evil Conspiracy’s new 10 track album, Evil Comes, the listener can expect a collection of varied, melodic, thrash/heavy metal material. The group are always trying to find new ways to make the songs more interesting such as diverse tempos and changes of key. Evil Conspiracy want to keep the audience engaged and although Evil Comes is a natural sequel to the previous album Prime Evil, with plenty of attitude and melodies, the new album feels particularly fresh and vibrant.The lyrics on Evil Comes are very diverse. Dogs Ov War is about mercenaries in war, killing anybody for money, no matter if it’s your neighbor, brother, etc. We Rise is about when people have had enough of injustice and start a revolution. Endless Darkness is about death. When you are on you deathbed and reflecting on all the people you have helped through out the years. And now you are all alone just waiting for the end. Where did the “friends” go? Violent Intent is about a mass murderer, the voices in his head and how he skins them alive, etc.The cover art on the bands previous album Prime Evil had a “good” burning angel turning into an “evil” burning angel. Like he is “falling from the sky” as one song on their debut is called. For Evil Comes, Evil Conspiracy decided that he has now fallen “down to the lord” (to quote one of the new songs) and perhaps he is now the one behind that door, attracting the children.
