Bio:
A multi-generational shame-based hard rock band. The Regenerators, a Saint Paul, MN all-star cast of rock 'n' rollers hell bent on bringing out their brand of multi- generational shame based music. When they ask you "Do You Wanna Take A Ride?" forget your seatbelt, throw away your helmet, grab on tight, forget your friends are watching, and headbang your way to musical Valhalla.
Album:
22,645 cans of Pabst, 3,541 bottles of bourbon (assorted), 10 years, 5 guys, 2 albums, one band to rock them all. Returning from their hiatus after the highly publicized yet heavily misunderstood debut album, The Regenerators bring a deeper level to their sweet and smokey BBQ bluesy riffs, blistering solos, and little-engine-that-could-but-don't-wanna attitude, elevating their songwriting beyond girls, cars and rock to a more down to earth feel. Tracks such as "Reach For The Scars" lend an insight of someone who has read far too many wrestler biographies from the 1970s, bringing to the listener a raw smackdown tna picture of what it was to be an olympian in an alleyway. In tribute to Lemmy (who may or may not be the Scottish reincarnation of Doc Holiday) "In Vino Veritas" puts the gunsmoke back in to rock with rifling riffs ripping through the air along the melodious monster of music; Vin E. Volts crooning out with a roar that would make Danzig flinch. The band, having masterful experience with alcoholism, has made a trilogy of trashed. "Whistling Past the Graveyard" resonating with those who can't conquer the demon in the bottle, "The Longest Night" being a cocaine fueled bender of self-destructive reflection that only cracked chrome can deliver, finishing with "Way Back Home", finding peace in the haze of sobriety. Finishing it off, the title track "Good Enough" preaches the doctrine the band has always lived by. So, make a federal production out of it, and pick up your copy of the Latest AND the Greatest from the Living Lords of Dynamite as they return with a Bang..
