Solity was formed in 2004 by Jonas Flink but didn’t surface until 2007 when he joined forces with the drummer Henrik Dahlgren. In 2009 they wrote the demo ”Live To Serve, Serve To Die” together with the new bassplayer Jens Sjöholm. The demo was recorded in Berno Studio and sold over 1000 copies. Later that year Rickard Saario joined the band and they were ready to enter Berno Studio once again to record the massive new single “Species 2.0” with Berno Paulsson as a producer. The heavy, crazy and proggressive sound showed the listener just how unpredictable Solitys music can be.Solity became known for being one of the trashiest and craziest unsigned bands of southern Sweden and in April 2012 their first full length album Booze, Blues And Broken Bones was released. The first single from the album was the song Bitch, it was digital released in June 2011 and got great response from both press and fans. The single also featured a heavy cover of Midnight Oil’s Beds are Burning. The second single was called Never Enough and where released together with a self-produced video. The second single later on became the ”hit” from the album both live and recorded. Both the singles and the album was recorded and produced by Jens Lundgren (Crazy Lixx, Bai Bang) in Studio Titan outside Lund in the southern parts of Sweden. The album Booze, Blues And Broken Bones is a huge, solid piece of immovable yet groovy melodic thrash/metal. The sound is unpredictable yet firm as a rock and the chorus’s are often very melodious and highly entrancing. The sound is there, the musicians are there, the songs are there and Solity did, with their debut album, once again confirm that they are more than ready to take on the big stage’s.After the recording of Booze, Blues And Broken Bones, Solity parted ways with their lead guitarist, Rickard Saario and spend some time as a three piece act. New songs where coming together and when the time where there to enter the studio once again, Max Eriksson (former guitarist in Inept Madness) was brought in as their new lead guitarist. Solity entered Studio Titan once again in August 2013 and spend the fall and winter in the studio just to work on the structure and arrangements of their songs and to polish their sound to perfection before the actual recording took place in the spring of 2014. Producer Jens Lundgren was once again the bands first choice as a producer and engineer. The album was completed in May 2014 and is now ready to be released.Solity has toured big parts of Sweden and played with bands such as Amaranthe, Mustasch, Lillasyster, Hysterica, Her Bright Skies and Warner Drive. With more live shows and a second album coming up, the band’s aiming higher than ever.

Solity has appeared in many successful connection. In addition to bassist Jens Sjöholm also plays bass in Crazy Lixx so the band has been support for a range of recognized bands like Mustache, Little sister, Amaranthe, Her Bright Skies and Hysterica.Lund Solity The band released their debut album in 2012 “Booze, Blues and Broken Bones” which was hailed by critics. Now they are back with their second album “Second Wind” which is released 28/1 2015 Rambo Music. The band themselves say that “The sound of the new album is more mature and airier and we have found a sound that includes fast riffs, huge choruses and humorous elements without it becoming too much of everything.”
