The TV producer became the singer with the red tie. The two engineers grabbed the spiky guitars. The two Daniels ended up behind the drums and the bass. Nocean originally started in 2013 with high ambitions and expectations. Two years later they signed a record deal with Attitude Recordings.The music is a mix of modern hard rock with influences from the 70/80’s, with melodic choruses and heavy breaks, and cocky vocals that really stands out.In April 2014 the bands first EP - “The Real Deal” - was released digitally. The band also wrote an intro song to the Swedish TV program “Idrottens himmel och helvete” (Heaven and Hell of Sports). During 2014 Nocean passed on to the finals in both Emergenza (Stockholm finale) and Battle of the Bands (Danderyd) thanks to the audience’s votes.In July 2014 they released their first music video “The Real Deal”, and also signed a manager contract with Attitude Mgmt in Stockholm. And later on, they even signed a record deal with Attitude Recordings. During the 2015, Nocean will release their second EP "Based On A Lie" (on their own) and then be working on the debut album (release in early 2016).
