Bio:

IRONWILL is a Rock band formed in 2018 by Salvo “Ironwill” Dell’Arte. The band is part of a large kaleidoscopic spectrum in which all artistic forms are involved: music, photography, video, comics, illustration works and art.The aim of IRONWILL is to bring together the best artists who know how to express with their sensitivity the importance of the topics dealt with in each project.IRONWILL believes that rock music and other artistic works are the best way to communicate to people the light of souls which everyone needs in the path of his/her life. Art is part of life and is the best way to help give the real significance to the journey on this Earth.IRONWILL proposes to talk about personal and psychological issues, giving several points of view for the depths of one’s soul trying to switch on the warm light inside the audience. The first chapter was about bullying; in 2019 they recorded the concept album “The Jonathan’s Journey”.The second chapter released in 2020/2021, called “Breakout”, is about the evolution of souls; 10 songs linked by the same point of view: a positive evolution. In the meantime, IRONWILL experimented with a return to the blues with a number of singles in which the crossover between rock and blues allowed the literary themes to be explored musically. This fascinating exploration is called B2B Back to Blues.

Album:

The successor of 'The Jonathan's Journey' is 'Breakout'. Salvo "IronWill" Dell'Arte's project presents a balanced interplay of heavy metal, bland power, symphonic, even pop and modern metal that releases fresh songs with a certain impact. Speaking of songs, the opener "As Fast As Rock'n'Roll" instantly puts the listener at ease with its lively immediacy and that soulful touch, amplified beautifully by "Step by Step". Save Me", "Prince" and "True or Not" are also good tracks, while in others the architecture as well as the execution itself in building it manages to impress. She, Riell, is the pivotal voice backed by opera singer Sherrie Anne Grieve and a singer like Jareth Skullek. Three voices that don't step on each other's toes and broaden the horizon of the vocal possibilities as much as the solutions of the pieces. Although we have mentioned some genres in the previous lines, in "Breakout" everything is ultimately bent to a personal style of the band that implements wide-ranging and also different solutions. The infusion of melodic and stylistic solutions, even non-metal, into songs of a heavy metal or hard & heavy nature, is an indication of admirable creativity. CalvinDuke and Carlos Cantatore are the rhythm section, bass and drums respectively, just to complete the picture of the musicians involved. "Breakout" is a rich, catchy, even pandering album at certain moments and yet it is played in a down-to-earth manner, as it usually should be for a metal album.

This fascinating exploration is called B2B Back to Blues.

Album:

Not every metal band has something to say. IRONWILL do. The Italian four-piece has spent years sharpening a sound built around psychological depth and emotional honesty, and “Reforged Within” is where that effort fully pays off. This is a record that announces itself not through volume alone, but through intention with every riff, every vocal line, every structural choice pointing toward something larger than the sum of its parts.Guitarist Salvo Dell’Arte leads a lineup that now includes vocalist Sherrie, drummer Mr. Z, allong with their bassist Mr. Mike, and the chemistry is immediately audible. These aren’t musicians filling roles – they’re collaborators pulling in the same direction. The rhythm section in particular provides a foundation that is both rock-solid and surprisingly dynamic, giving the guitars and vocals space to do their most expressive work without the whole thing collapsing into noise.Opening track “Gravity” establishes the mood without overstaying its welcome as a slow gravitational pull that sets the album’s emotional coordinates early. The record builds steadily through “Infinity” and “Sad Night,” deepening the psychological landscape before “Breakout” arrives as its clearest, most visceral statement. This is the track where the album stops circling its themes and confronts them directly, and it hits with the kind of force that reframes everything around it. “True Or Not” and “Angel” follow with equal conviction, sustaining the momentum rather than coasting on it.The mid-section earns its place with “As Fast Rock And Roll,” “Wind And Talk,” and “Time”, providing propulsive energy without abandoning the introspective thread that holds the record together. There’s a temptation in metal to fill every available second with aggression, and IRONWILL consistently resist it. The restraint here is not timidity, it’s craft and these songs are given room to develop, the dynamics are respected, and the listener is trusted to follow the emotional argument being made.Sherrie’s voice is the album’s anchor and its greatest strength. Expressive and controlled in equal measure, she navigates the full emotional range this material demands with quiet authority and zero affectation. “Changing Myself” is the record’s most exposed and vulnerable moment, stripped back enough to feel genuinely brave within a heavy metal context, and she makes it the most memorable track on the album. The penultimate “The Dam” reintroduces tension with precise timing, making the closing “I Believe” land with the weight it deserves. It’s an ending that feels earned rather than engineered.IRONWILL have been building toward something like this for a while, threading themes of personal growth, resilience, and social awareness through each successive release. “Reforged Within” is the fullest realization of that vision and is emotionally literate, musically disciplined, while becoming more rewarding with every listen. This is heavy metal for people who want their music to do something more than overwhelm. IRONWILL have built an album that genuinely earns its title, forged through difficulty, shaped by intention, and delivered with conviction making it a record worth sitting with.
