We featured here ‘JACK PONTI Presents Volume 1′, the official release of demos from the New Jersey songwriter who has penned songs for Alice Cooper, Keel, Trixter, Nelson, Kane Roberts, Joe Lynn Turner, Bonfire, Bon Jovi, etc.Ponti is a classic “behind the scenes” character in the history of the music business, but the man just wrote some of the greatest rock n’ roll songs in history. As record labels / publishing agencies did all over the ’80s, countless Jack Ponti songs were demoed for being offered to artists / producers. Unknown musicians & vocalists were hired for the performances, and many of them later found fame & fortune.Unfortunately a ”Volume 2” never was released, but don’t worry, our team here compiled more Jack Ponti demos, unreleased recordings we titled… “JACK PONTI Presents Volume 2“.Some songs were later recorded by artists / bands, like ‘Loaded Gun’, by Alice Cooper for his album ‘Hey Stoopid’, with slightly different lyrics. The personnel / musicians involved isn’t specified in the tapes, but for sure you’ll recognize at least some vocalists… as example, there’s a young dude named Jeff Scott Soto.
