Danish hard rock band formed 2002.Blindstone er en vaskeægte, old-school Power Trio, påvirket af gamle kæmper som Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Deep Purple og Black Sabbath. Dvs, at vi befinder os et sted, hvor bluesrock og hård rock mødes, hvor der er både råstyrke, og lejlighedsvist psykedelisk højt til loftet.Det er et musikalsk univers med det store riff i højsædet, hvor musikken tager sig tid, med god plads til improvisation, og udtryksfulde, ekvilibristiske guitarsoli af den gamle 70’er-skole.Blindstone har 9 albums på bagen, arbejder i øjeblikket på det 10. (det første for Mighty Music), og har turneret i en stor del af Europa. Senest har Blindstone fungeret som backing band for blueslegenden Walter Trout, ved en række vellykkede koncerter i Danmark.

BLINDSTONE is proud to announce the new album ”Scars To Remember”. After being the best-kept secret within the heavy side of blues rock, as part of the “closed” blues scene for two decades, the band is now moving to Mighty Music and finally getting the recognition they deserve.”Scars To Remember” is the tenth album from the Danish-based blues power trio, which has its stylistic roots in the late ’60s and ’70s, with inspiration from bands/artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and others.The new album is a strong entry in Blindstone’s extensive discography, and should appeal to fans of the band’s previous releases, the aforementioned artists, and fans of heavy, blues-based rock in general.“Scars To Remember” will be released on CD and digital formats via Mighty Music on August 11th, 2023.
