That boost is damn effective and it brings up your servant in the best scenic meandering of his personal experiences, remembering a similar look with Doc Marteens on the train back to swing the riff at all costs. Enjoyable. Some more festive but equally breaker cervical, THUNDER IN THE BADLANDS denotes with a well taking groove. Always so detached from the real world too boring, the TRENCH DOGS does not hesitate to take out the mid tempo is going well. Thus ODE THE ASHES goes to kneel over one or by worship style, or to shout for help. It's make or break. But if you feel the hair stand on end by the bias of an arrogant voice like this then the very boogie Rock 'n' Roll / Punk / Cowboy / I know what to what the title SILVER TONGUE risk you scare. As against others, including myself, will play back on pronto!Anyway, the TRENCH DOGS assume their choice and offer "finally" a different sound from what is currently being done in the regions of the north. Ok, without being innovative for a sub because it's still heard, but when it's played like that and the trip is guaranteed why deny it? I do not know about you but one thing is sure, it is good to hear the Glam Punk!

Swedish glam rockers TRENCH DOGS will release their full length debut album "Year Of The Dog" tomorrow August 24, 2018.The group consists of Martini on drums, Andy Hekkandi on vocals, Mattias Johansson on lead guitar, Daniel Ekholm on bass and Howard “Spides” Chapman on rhythm guitar, and plays melodic glammy rock inspired by the Scandinavian scene, but also with British classic influences.Despite the guy's look and the present trend from Scandinavia, Trench Dogs are not a sleaze band. At least not your typical sleaze as it's currently being done in that region of the planet.Trench Dogs started as a band around six years ago in Stockholm, recorded a promising EP (featured here at 0dayrox) and since then added an additional guitarist in Howard Spides Chapman.Having two guitars is a major game changer for Trench Dogs, and this has helped to take things to the next level for the band.Since opener "Homesick Parade" you can feel Trench Dogs are not just sleaze but more timeless Rock 'n Roll. I hear influences from the likes of Dogs D'Amour, Hanoi Rocks or Pretty Vacant, but the guys sound quite original.Then on next song "Montenegro", musically I hear British influences, some kind of Quireboys meets Mott the Hoople, while on "Forgotten Melodies" appears a bit of sleaze, but more in the '70s glam' side of things.They add acoustic guitars for the middle of the road rocker "Rattlin' Bones", while "Awake" is a fun classic rock tune via a foot-tapping rhythm and a vintage guitar sound.More amusement comes with the easy rock n' roll of "The Gin Beat", there's a cool groove n' fuzz on "Kids!" akin New York Dolls, and closer "Buzzards" is a slow acoustic ballad, a bit too long.Trench Dogs are a promising new act from Sweden."Year Of The Dog" is classic rock 'n roll, with classic glam here and there, a dash of sleaze, some tongue-in-cheek lyrics and an overall sense of fun.Two thumbs up.

Rockers TRENCH DOGS are back with the long-awaited follow-up to their 2018 debut album Year Of The Dog. Their second album ‘‘Stockholmiana” is the result of 4 years of refined songwriting, arrangements, and track selection.With an evolved approach to songwriting and a production that perfectly complements the vision of the album, Trench Dogs have once again created a diverse record that spans the spectrum of decadent booze-fueled party bangers, to songs that tackle the darker side of life.Regardless of the songs’ theme, they deliver melodic riffs and hooky sing-along choruses that stick in your head for a long time.This second album named ”Stockholmiana” was recorded at Tilt Studios in Strömstad, Sweden with engineer Max Dahlby, the same studio where the band recorded their debut. The album was mixed by Harry Darling at Lux Noise Studio in Switzerland and mastered by Al Scott who’s previously worked with bands/artists such as Dogs d’Amour, Stiv Bators, Johnny Thunders, Michael Monroe and The Wildhearts to name a few.”Stockholmiana” is Trench Dogs at their finest.
