Bio:

Holy smokes - what is this? AOR fans and collectors rejoice! here we have one of the most amazing collection of aor gems ever assembled on one disc. Arrival hail from Denver and here we have 10 mind-blowing AOR tracks featuring previously unreleased recordings by none other than mark free (King Kobra , Signal , Unruly Child). after King Kobra and before Signal , Mark recorded six fantastic aor tracks with Arrival and here they are in all their remastered glory. sharing vocal duties with Mark is the equally talented Michael Badagliacco and between these two unbelievable singers , we have an instant aor / melodic rock classic. Retrospect Records has once again unearthed a masterpiece which must be heard to be believed. massive hooks , world-class musicianship and a top-notch production makes this an essential addition to your 80s melodic rock / aor collection. definitely a contender for album of the year. wow!! very very highly recommended to fans of: Journey , Alliance , Toto , Franke & the knockouts , and of course fans of Mark Free.

Album:

Lovely album that delivers great songs ala mid 80's Journey or Styx...Mark Free is in it..what can i say....best tracks for me are "Born For Broadway","Out Of Nowhere" & "Turn Your Head Around" but "We Never Said Goodbye",the strong smoothie "Say Goodbye" & "Don't Stop Dreamin'" also rule...enjoyable stuff, enough said..If you like AOR and this is a must have. With Mark Free singing you cannot go wrong. Michael Badagliacco is also great as a singer. Get it!!!

Year : 1999 (Vision Recording Group Records Edition)
Style : Melodic Christian Hard Rock , AOR
Country : United States
Audio : 320 kbps + all scans
Size : 120 mb

Bio:

Arrival is an christian AOR/hard rock band from Denver, Colorado, USA, that was formed in 1985. Not to be confused with Arrival also from the USA.The band was formed by guitarist Charlie McCormick and guitarist/keyboardist Ric Cabot Podmore and keyboardist Norm Peterson.

Album:

Second full-length album with another line-up.Coming out of Colorado, they are one of the better AOR bands I've heard for awhile and feature some very catchy, melodic AOR/hard rock.Great production and performance. They remind me of bands like THE STORM, TALL STORIES, JOURNEY and STEELHOUSE LANE. Top notch singing, slick guitars, huge keys and a monster size production make this CD a great listen. The singer sounds like a cross between Jimi Jamison (Survivor) & Dennis DeYoung (Styx). The music is also not far removed from either bands sound but surely not as Pomp as Styx music. Still, any of these songs would fit well on any good melodic/AOR album from years gone by.

Line Up:

Michael Badagliacco - lead vocals
Charlie McCormick - lead guitar, vocals
Ric Cabot Podmore - guitars, keyboards, vocals
Steve Kayden - bass, vocals
Richie Carlson - drums

Production:

Mastered By – Tom Baker
Producer [Produced By], Engineer [Engineered By], Mixed By – Kevin Clock, Ric Cabot Podmore

Tracklist:

01. Time To Lose (The President's Man)
02. Sign Of Devotion
03. Deja Vu
04. Used To Be In Love
05. Feel The Power
06. Lead The Way
07. Stand Up Now
08. My Destiny
09. That's Why
10. Some Things Never Change
