My name is Parramore (Perry) Thomas McCarty. I live in San Diego, Ca. As the sole creator of this new rock band, MONSTER TRAXX, I’m truly excited to finally finish this two and a half year project. In a nut shell, I was basically possessed with desire to create music that is dedicated to the life and spirit of Bon Scott of AC/DC. All the music and lyrics for MONSTER TRAXX were written by me. My sole commitment was to inject some of the soul and humor that Bon gave early AC/DC. It’s the most challenging and satisfying music I have done so far!On the recording, I played all of the rhythm guitars and acoustic. The solo guitar work is powered by Ariel Levine. Yours truly played bass guitar on most of the songs. John Osmon performed bass guitar on Monster Traxx and Gazillionaire. Dave (drum killer) DuCey, from Los Angeles, laid down the drum work with gusto!I did indeed sing all of the lead vocal traxx as well as the backing vocals. Hopefully the music will touch you in a good way. So for you Bon fans, here are some new tunes to chew on.Lastly, many of you may wonder about my musical background. Rob Crosby of Ratt gave me my start singing in cover bands. My first major label album was heavy metal band Warrior on Virgin records. Steve Stevens Atomic Playboys on Warner Bros. records was the next rock album that had my vocals on it. My own albums came later. First was my pop album, Perry 101, and then back to my metal roots with METAL FREQS. Find my tunes on monstertraxxband.com or CD Baby.com I’ll be putting a complete band together in the near future for live shows. Live rockin’ in 2015!
