LOBSTER founde in 2014, city: Seinäjoki - Pori / Finland.Lobster has previously released two albums, Carousel (2016) and Killing Silence (2018). The band has also chosen to invest in the visual aspect. In addition, music videos have been made for almost all of the singles released.New album "Love, Respect & Rock'n'Roll" (2023).The band will celebrate the new album with a two-part release concert in their home town of Pori on 14 October at Ravintola Winston and in Seinäjoki on 21 October at Ravintola Kulaus.Working on rock music with a big hand and a big heart, Lobster has released the third album "Love, Respect & Rock 'n' Roll". Lobster has described their music with the term organic rock. The band's sound has developed deeper and more versatile over the years. Lobster has added spices to its organic rock soup. The taste palette has been widened with melodies, loops, sequencers and lyrical depth. The words are multidimensional and can be approached from many different perspectives. Albums are filled with rich vocal melodies accompanied by vocal harmonies and rough guitar riffs.

Lobster is a homegrown rock patrol that has become a true stalwart on the challenging ice of classic hard rock.Their 2018 runner-up Killing Silence may not have always surprised with its personality, but the rock'n'roll train kept on rolling. The same continues with the new album, whose jukeboxing is one man's strength and another man's liability.The third album, Love, Respect & Rock 'n' Roll, brings together, as far as I can see, all the singles between here and there, and there are no fewer than six of them. Korona took a lot, but not everything, and it's a challenge to call the new album dark. Six more have been found to join the familiar bets, and that makes a dozen in all. Let's find out how dirty the dozen is, or what kind of rock'n'roll disciples are being protected here...The last of the singles, Final Destination, bears a semi-futuristic synavistic stance and Drink, Drink, Drink is a rhythmical drinking song with a thumping groove mother, but otherwise the band tries to stay on the path of heap hard rock. Of course, the Messenger clown brings some Garymoor-esque blues inside the shirt and the single Touch of Memory, which uses a bigger brush to paint its skyline, also slips a bit out of place, but this is a bunch of Eighth-grade discs and those are essential pieces in the picture that emerges.The electric guitar is king in the king's seat, but it knows and wants to share the limelight with the keyboards and even the rhythm section. Another super-strong trump card is the vocals, into which Ana Kaunisto knows how to load power, emotion and punch. I'm not saying she's the new David Coverdale, but the vocalist understands her target and knows her limits, which is always a positive thing.The oldest of the singles, No Place Like Home, released in April 2020, represents Lobster's most functional bilerock side, and the title track Love, Respect & Rock 'n' Roll fits the bill, adding more punch to the sound. Everyone in the band contributes vocals backed by Kaunisto, and that power pops out with a steady, deadly intensity. Harmonies and choruses aren't exactly crammed in everywhere, leaving Twisted to surprise, with the aforementioned rap track Drink, Drink, Drink leaning sweetly on its vocal power like a drunk on an electric pole.Love, Respect & Rock 'n' Roll is a jukebox-like whole, I won't deny that, but there's always a need for a good music machine. Lobster knows how to stay at the right distance from its starting point, but also how to vary itself enough, so the balance is right in that respect. What else can I say but Love, Respect & Rock 'n' Roll!
