Comprised of Zach Allen (vocals), Harrison Marcello (guitars, keyboards, vocals), Zak Gross (bass, vocals), and Jimmi Kane (drums), this New York City-based band is all about big hooks and big riffs. Tempt brings musicianship, style, performance, and an intense rock sound to a new generation.Tempt is an explosive new band built on a love for melodic rock. The band is fronted by two 19 year olds on vocals and guitar has taken the heritage of the Sunset Strip, New Jersey and the streets of their hometown New York City and made it their own to take rock into the 21st century.Following their highly anticipated performance at Rocklahoma in Pryor, OK on May 25th, they plan to tour nationwide to promote the release of their debut album "Under My Skin". Tempt is a rock band formed in New York CIty in 2015. It's members are, Zach Allen (Lead Vocals), Harrison Marcello (Guitars), Nicholas Burrows (Drums) and Chris Gooden (Bass) Their music is described as a mix of power pop, melodic metal, and classic rock.Tempt entered a licensing and distribution agreement with Rock Candy Records founder Derek Oliver and released their debut CD, "Runaway" in 2016.The album was mixed by multi-platinum engineer and Producer, Michael Wagener. In 2019, Tempt were signed by renowned managers Andy Gould[4] and Steve Strange.They then recorded a new record that was co-produced by Grammy Award winner Chris Lord-Alge. This led to Allen Kovac, CEO of Better Noise Music signing the band to a multi-album deal. Their first release on Better Noise Music was the single, "Hot Summer Dreams" on the compilation, Endless Summer.Their full length album release was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and is now scheduled for release in August of 2021. Their scheduled tour of Europe playing the major rock festivals including Download, Hellfest, Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park was also cancelled due to the virus.Their first major festival appearances will now be in the United States at Aftershock and Louder Than Life where they will open for Metallica.The band references 70's and 80's rock music as influences including the band Def Leppard and the producer Mutt Lange.Tempt recorded a version of Def Leppard's classic song "Women" and Def Leppard recognized and praised the job that Tempt did by posting Tempt's version on all of their social media.In 2018 the band was selected by New York radio station WBAB to open for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden.Tempt's song "Living Dangerous" is featured on the upcoming soundtrack for the film, The Retaliators.Harrison Marcello was a finalist in a Rolling Stone Magazine competition to find 'the next great young guitarist'.

THOSE OF YOU who follow the world of Rock Candy would have noticed that we rarely issue material from new artists. Indeed, our speciality is primarily to shine a spotlight on reissues - records that we feel, in one way or another, were vastly overlooked at the time or are of such a high quality that they needed to be re-examined and brought back into focus, buffed-up and given a truly five star re-appraisal. Of course, like every label, we do get many hopefuls brandishing new music but, sad to say, the content is often not quite right for us. That we are pleased to report is not the case with New York based outfit Tempt. You may have seen them mentioned on various websites and in magazines over the last year - mainly praising a highly regarded self-financed EP and a smattering of live shows. - The EP showcased a young, but thoroughly contemporary, band playing a style of music that evoked memories of the great melodic hard rock bands of the past. It was a warming experience as the delivery, arrangements and attack suggested an allegiance to acts like Foo Fighters, Audioslave and Alterbridge, yet the musicianship and spirit bring to mind classic Van Halen, Aerosmith and Def Leppard. - The band has gone on to craft a truly spellbinding debut album; one that confronts the listener with a blast of the present but suggests a comforting whiff of the past. Crucially, all the elements are in place, from great vocals (courtesy of Zach Allen), incredible guitar playing (by Harrison Marcello) and brilliantly crafted songs with enough twists and turns to not only satisfy the musically inclined but also to appeal to folk who just wanna rock.
