Bio:

Silvester Stallone does, David Haye does, and The Order do it. They are all back in the ring and let it rip so right. Rock'n'Rumble, the fifth album of the Swiss hard rockers, is after 2012 published chart success "1986" another tribute to the glory days of hard rock of the 80s. This was not only the time of the distorted guitar sounds and the big hair, but also the time of Mike Tyson. The Americans gave the boxing then new energy. Similarly today do as The Order with something in the tooths music genre. Cleverly grab the Swiss classic hard rock with strong 80s turning into a modern sound robe and catapult the genre so definitely into the 21st century. Because the passion for The Order has (, incidentally, in the same line) is not diminished even after ten years together, the band for Rock'n'Rumble has taken time in the best Def Leppard-style for a whole year, revised the songs again and again and perfected. Out of more than 20 titles, the 10 best were selected and included Studio in Füllinsdorf in Fist. Even a few prominent guests have risen in the ring: Thom Blunier of Shakra has a guitar solo contributed, V.O. Powder (Gurd, Poltergeist) shares with singer Gianni Pontillo the lead vocals in "Karma" and Red Ochsenbein enriched "Turn The Pages" with an irresistible string arrangement. Achim Köhler (Primal Fear, Edguy, Masterplan u.v.a.) missed the songs perfect sound and ensures that Rock'n'Rumble pops out of the speakers in a prime Mike Tyson style.

Album:

Swiss rockers THE ORDER are about to release their seventh, new album “Empires”, and from the first chords the band declared their musical manifesto: they play old-school hard rock straight out of the Eighties, in their most traditional way. Take the classic sound & style of ’80s KISS, HELIX, Y&T, but also CASANOVA, GOTTHARD, etc, and add a bit of metal too.THE ORDER consists of Gianni Pontillo on vocals, Bruno Spring on guitar, Alain Schwaller on bass, and Mauro “Tschibu” Casciero on drums. Gianni, who has also lent his vocals to other projects, including the German hard rock institution VICTORY, and who recently replaced Carl Sentance as the new singer for NAZARETH, has announced that Gianni will remain a permanent member of THE ORDER alongside his work with NAZARETH.This is a good thing, as his voice, with its rawness and tone, is a perfect fit for the band. He almost reaches the heights of Ronnie James Dio or Ronnie Romero, perhaps not quite matching their vocal range, but his expressiveness is nearly on par with both. The guitars provide the necessary heaviness at the forefront, the bass delivers a powerful groove, and the drums are absolutely crushing. Production is impressive and boasts ample dynamic range across all frequencies.Musically and lyrically, “Empires” brings together the nearly 20 years of the band’s history, reconnecting with the political force and raw energy of their acclaimed debut album, “Son of Armageddon,” while sounding more relevant and impactful than ever.Produced by VO Pulver at Little Creek Studios in Switzerland, the album features massive riffs, powerful melodies, and an undeniable classic hard rock / heavy metal foundation.
