Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born September 23, 1949) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and humanitarian. He is best known for his work with his E Street Band. Nicknamed "The Boss," Springsteen is widely known for his brand of poetic lyrics, Americana, working class and sometimes political sentiments centered on his native New Jersey, his distinctive voice and his lengthy and energetic stage performances, with concerts from the 1970s to the present decade running over three hours in length.Springsteen's recordings have included both commercially accessible rock albums and more somber folk-oriented works. His most successful studio albums, Born to Run (1975) and Born in the U.S.A. (1984), showcase a talent for finding grandeur in the struggles of daily American life. A 52 page colour booklet includes a "Single Cover Art Gallery" reproducing all Japanese single cover art (7", 12", 8cm, 12cm). A second 80 page b/w booklet includes extensive liner notes including track by track commentary (in Japanese), lyrics to all CD tracks (in English and Japanese), compilation credits and a five page discography of other compilations in the series.All music remastered, 2023.Continuing the original Japanese Singles Collection series, this time with Bruce Springsteen's greatest hits. Features all of his Japanese single releases from 1975 through to 1999 over two Blu-spec CD2 discs, all digitally remastered for 2023. Presented in the same order as the US 7" single releases, the included booklet features 5" x 5" replica reprints of the Japanese sleeves for each track. Finally, two DVDs contain 64 music videos, of which 22 are available on DVD for the first time.
