Jaded Past is a melodic rock band that began as a project put together in 2011 by singer-songwriter-guitarist-front man George Becker, who has been a long time veteran of the east coast music scene and has shared the stage with numerous national acts over the course of three decades. In 2012 Becker wrote and recorded for the Jaded Past debut record with some local musicians and friends and released it independently. That record created a slight buzz. Jaded Past then became a project that went out and played shows mainly throughout the New Jersey area and into New England, again with local musicians and friends hitting the stage with Becker.This then prompted him to jump back in the studio to write and record for the sophomore record entitled “Believe” which was released in 2016 on Melodic Rock Records. Now with a second record out and developing a growing fan base, a secure line-up was needed to be put in in place. It was then in 2018 when booked for Melodic Rock Festival 5 in Chicago, Pete Fry joined Becker and Jaded Past as the guitarist. The two seemed to have a great chemistry and a kind of magic on stage. In the months to follow Leo Sabatino was then brought on as bassist and last but not least Pete Giordano secured the spot as the band’s drummer. Jaded Past was no longer a project but now a full on, power packed rock band ready to conquer. The current line-up is one of confidence and camaraderie, a band of brothers, and it shows on the stage.Fast forward into 2021, Jaded Past has now put a numerous amount of shows under their belt; including the highlighted Kiss Kruise pre-party festival in 2019. The band was set to do a slew of shows in 2020 including a European tour run with Bonfire, but as we all have been effected by the Covid-19 pandemic, it was all halted. It is now time to reflect and relaunch, and what better way to that then to release this adrenaline filled live album, “Live And On Edge”. This journey has just begun and this album is the perfect kick start for Jaded Past and the fans that support this genre. Recorded at various events and Rock Clubs in the U.S. Venues include: Melodic Rock Festival in Chicago, IL Kruise Fest in Miami, FL , Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck, NJ , Wood Rock Studios in Somerset, NJ.“Live And On Edge” is the third album by Jaded Past. It is the first “live” record from the band and represents the energy they give to each performance. Over the past two years Jaded Past has played numerous shows including a few festivals and this record captures some of those for you. The album was mixed and produced by front man and singer George Becker and contains thirteen of the band’s powerful tunes. We hope you enjoy it. Turn it up and play it loud!
