German hard rock / heavy metal band from Göppingen founded in 1980.STALIN was founded with German, critical and political lyrics at the same time as Strassenjungs & Co and made a significant contribution to the development of German rock. In a provocative mixture, all political tendencies were ironised and the sluggishness and injustice of the systems criticised. The impotence of not being able to achieve one's own goals quickly enough, even with political and social commitment, was expressed in the musicians' defiant music and hard life excesses.A record deal for 3 LPs in 1984 resulted in the LPs "Friss oder Stirb" and "Crazy Nites". When the Vertex publishing house had to file for bankruptcy in 1886, the audio tapes and the collected studio material disappeared.studio material disappeared. In 1996, a long play CD was produced from the first 2 LPs at great technical expense. The band's high point was celebrated with a concert at Maxim in Stuttgart in 1985.
