Late 80's to early 90's Christian hard rock band from Germany.First cassette "Shine On" (1987) and debut album from 1990 "Stop The Running" through Sir Price Records.Rare second full-length album through Sir Price Records (1993). Their sound style stands apart from the classic hard rock sound that exploded in the 1980s; while the use of keyboards and other elements give it a slightly old-school rock feel, it’s enjoyable in its own right.

Rare second full-length album through Sir Price Records (1993).Rockhours is a rare Christian Rock/AOR album.The album features melodic rock tracks, including "Sacrifice Of Love," "Don't Be Afraid," "Guilt And Deliverance," "Who Can I Ask," and "Awake Us". It is considered a collectible item within the European Christian rock scene.Very infectious with it's monster melodies and songs.What makes SURPRISE special is they have created a sound that leaves you wanting more. A few bands come to mind such as ALIEN, BAGHDAD and BOYSVOICE but SURPRISE seem to be more melodic, especially with their use of keys.I’ve never once seen this album on the domestic used market. I’ve only spotted it once on an overseas auction site a few years ago, so I believe it’s an extremely rare record that rarely surfaces.It’s highly unlikely that a reissue will ever be released, and I’ve never heard of any reproductions circulating either.
