Fingerprints was a Swedish music group consisting of Björn Ström (vocals), Thomas Axelsson (electric bass), and Jörgen Ingeström (keyboards).The group released two singles in 1988 on the Vanity Records label. The following year, they switched record labels to Sonet Records and were selected to compete in the 1989 Melodifestivalen with the song “Mitt ibland änglar” (Among Angels), written by Anders Glenmark and Thomas Orup Eriksson. The song received 80 points and finished in third place. Fingerprints released the album Time is All We Need in 1989. Ström and Axelsson participated in the temporary group The Sylvesters, which released a New Year's single in 1990. Fingerprints also recorded the Christmas song “Betlehems stjärna” for a compilation album in 1990.Björn Ström appeared as a backing vocalist on several recordings, including “Where Were You Last Night,” released by Ankie Bagger in 1989, and “It's My Life” with Dr. Alban in 1992.Ström and Axelsson then went on to form the duo West of Sunset and released a self-titled album in 1992.

Melodic debut album and last alabum from Swedish AOR/hard rock band from Stockholm, Sweden, that was formed in 1987.Consisted of Björn Ström (vocals), Thomas Axelsson (bass) and Jörgen Ingeström (keyboards).I think that West Of Sunset is better, but this is another superb cd with incredible songs like Time Is All We Need, I Want You, Angel and one of the best songs i've ever heard, a jewel made music called Stay The Night.This one is a bit poppier than West Of Sunset.It's a shame that groups like this have not the support they should have.Bjorn Strom way of singing is Jon Secada alike (latin american pop singer that used to be backing vocalist for Miami Sound Machine before launching a quite succesful solo career)...the tracks i liked the most were 1 ,2 (catchy), 3 (killer ballad), 4 (wonderful), 5 (extremely catchy and a hit single surely), 6 (catchy), 7 (catchy) 8 (catchy highlight),10 (smooth)and the last 3 songs that are sang in their languague and are remakes of 3 tracks sang in english here are curious and interesting at the same time...if u like Kevin Paige or Bricklin kind of stuff then Fingerprints will have a place in your collection!!
