Symbolizer is a metal band from Copenhagen, Denmark formed in 2001. The band plays self-penned thrash metal which is both hard-hitting and melodic. Symbolizer has made heads bang at many venues in Denmark, for example The Rock, Lions and Barrels, Lille Vega, Stengade 30, Imperiet in Herning, MC Mosten Race Day and Ishøj Stadium, and they are an experienced live act. The band contributed to a various artists album in 2002, released a promo CD in 2005 and released a critically acclaimed full-length debut CD album entitled Thanatos Unleashed through the German record label Hellion Records in 2010.
