Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), better known by his stage name Slash, is a British-American musician and songwriter.He is best known as the former lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. During his later years with Guns N' Roses, Slash formed the side project Slash's Snakepit. He then co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver, which re-established him as a mainstream performer in the mid to late 2000s. Slash has since released three solo albums, Slash (2010), featuring an all-star roster of guest musicians, Apocalyptic Love (2012) & World on Fire (2014) recorded with singer/guitarist Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge, along with rhythm section Brent Fitz and Todd Kerns, known on the album as The Conspirators.Slash has received critical acclaim as a guitarist. Time named him runner-up on their list of "The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players" in 2009, while Rolling Stone placed him at No. 65 on their list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" in 2011.Guitar World ranked his solo in "November Rain" No. 6 on their list of "The 100 Greatest Guitar Solos" in 2008,[4] and Total Guitar placed his riff in "Sweet Child o' Mine" at No. 1 on their list of "The 100 Greatest Riffs" in 2004.In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with other members of Guns N' Roses.

SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators “Living The Dream Tour” captures the band’s incendiary performance on their sold-out 2019 tour in front of a rabid crowd at London’s legendary Hammersmith Apollo, roaring through a highly charged 2-hour set of songs from all four Slash solo albums.The set includes “Call of the Wild” “Driving Rain”, “By The Sword”, “Back From Cali”, “Starlight”, “World On Fire” and “Anastasia”.There’s a searing live version of “Shadow Life”, as well as “We Are All Gonna Die” and “Doctor Alibi”, during which Myles Kennedy switches vocal duties with bassist Todd Kerns.“Serve You Right” stood out for its raw sound, as the band delivered it with an energy that is only possible when a song is still new to a group.When bassist Todd Kerns takes over lead vocals on the Slash / Lemmy song “Doctor Alibi”, the band is able to show a different musical side. Most likely done to give vocalist Kennedy a break. The song’s loose, almost punk, vibe is a nice shift in the set.Of course, a Guns N’ Roses song can’t be absent into a Slash show, and they do a hot, thrilling version of “Nightrain”.Slash tears up Hammersmith Apollo with staggering solos while dropping giant slabs of riffs with casual ease, delivering the essence of rock ‘n’ roll in this show.You could see it, hear it and feel it. “Every night is chasing that magic and when it happens, it’s euphoric,” Slash states. “I just love it… London kicks ass”.All over these years Slash could have taken the easy road and hired a bunch of Hollywood mercenaries and lived off of the past but that’s not what this is. Nostalgia be damned, this is a real band growing its own roots.And with each record and tour this band continues to show the world that there’s an audience ready and willing to accept new music, as long as it’s delivered honestly and consistently.Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are more than happy deliver the goods.
