With the new album, the band brings a heavy sound, state-of-the-art production, and more dark and deeper lyrics about finding your true meaning and how to be yourself, how to dare to be different and have no fear as one never be alone through music, the right to fight for what you believe in and also for love, for friendship and music.The release of the CD is also accompanied by the publication of “The book of Scarlet – Ignition” (the first book within a trilogy) written by Scarlet Aura’ singer-songwriter Aura Danciulescu. This encouraged band members to move on with higher energy and efforts because they are being observed by the best in the business and their efforts are all worth it.In Spring 2018 Scarlet Aura toured as an opening act for Rhapsody Reunion’s 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour in Europe with 24 dates across 13 countries.In 2017 the band had their first headlining, “The Beast Within Me” tour in Central East and West Europe and released a tribute album “Memories”, presenting and re-interpreting 11 classical Rock and Metal songs in their own unique style.Joining Tarja Turunen on her “The Shadow Shows Tour” in October 2016 with shows in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and releasing their second album “Falling Sky” at the same time made the band even more popular and recognized.The band started its journey in 2014 inspired by the best rock music and musicians as Dio, Helloween or Iron Maiden and it impressed with their Melodic Rock side but also because of the Heavy Metal accents.Releasing their debut album “The Rock Chick” (under the name AURA) on Universal Music and winning “The Black Sea Battle of the Bands” at the Kavarna Rock Fest in 2014 in Bulgaria made the band one of most exciting new acts from Romania.

In just fifteen minutes, SCARLET AURA are clearly purified, as if they had taken the all-round criticism of their latest album to heart. "Hot'n'Heavy", the youngest long format of the Romanians of 2018, we have not necessarily cheered on these pages, and in comparison to the now present single marks a significant progress.SCARLET AURA follow an already applied strategy in 2017 to send a longplayer a release in advance, as happened in 2017 with 'The Beast Within Me' from the shortly afterwards released album "Memories". In addition, the group from Bucharest with their current three songs, which contains this single, would like to draw attention to his upcoming tour with soul hard rocker Jeff Scott Soto, with the title track at the same time to the next studio work (expected to appear in spring 2020).it's a ballad in which singer and songwriter Aura beats capital from her smoky voice. Although the number misses a big hook from the beating Doros (the comparison is still puzzling), SCARLET AURA is better than the pseudo-bombastic Kraftmeierei the other day. An Achilles heel remains the immobile rhythm corset, the drums sound like computer.'Tomboy' then turns out to be a resilient heavy rocker with a strong chorus that suffers from rhythmic stiffness. That Aura and Co. want to encourage people with all three tracks, who have lost hope in their lives for whatever reason, is both unknowable and irrelevant to the reception of the single. the material may have uplifting qualities in terms of its melody, but in the final analysis remains too wooden and impersonal.Nevertheless, and also in view of the sensitive conclusion with the Romanian sung 'Un Nou Inceput': The band is gradually changing.CONCLUSION: If you can not imagine a Romanian version of Evanescence or Lacuna Coil in (yet) half as good, you may want to get more involved with SCARLET AURA and be convinced by the band on tour soon.
