Winter of 2008, five nasty corpses came out of their graves looking for action in the midnight sun.From the darkest graves of an undisclosed portuguese cemetery five hairy & nasty corpses walked out their graves on the cold winter night. Dying for some action on the city streets, they craved for blood in leather and chains only to face the grimmest of realities… the 80’s were over!They knew something had to be done…Whilst reharsing in a near by mausoleum and raising hell among the Heavy Metal and Punk underground, the mad five started to build a stone cold reputation which soon became a force to be reckoned with.For those who survived, it was knives out Heavy Metal mayhem all the way till the grave.Cursed by the night, Witches danced and the Devil laughed…THE PRIEST IS BACK!!!

The 3rd album of the Portuguese heavy metal stalwarts MIDNIGHT PRIEST was originally planned for a 2018 release, but had to be delayed to this year's Keep It True festival release date as it wasn't ready in time. Unfortunately, thanks to the incompetence and unreliability of the new pressing plant we decided to work with (actually together with the middleman who was handling our order), we didn't receive "Aggressive Hauntings" (as well as the other two releases: SACRAL NIGHT "Ancient Remains" and IN AEVUM AGERE "Canto III") for the festival. At this point it looks like we'll have them 2 weeks after the originally guaranteed delivery date, so we've set the new release date to May 10th. Anyway, the new MIDNIGHT PRIEST album is a bit of a come back to their earlier and more evil heavy metal style - it's definitely heavier and more aggressive than the last one. It sounds very classic and fresh at the same time and should definitely appeal to the fans of bands like JUDAS PRIEST, MERCYFUL FATE, RAM, TRIAL (Swe.), PORTRAIT, WOLF, ENFORCER and STEELWING.(Cover art by Jowita Kaminska-Peruzzi).The CD can be pre-ordered until Thursday, May 9th midnight Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from our SHOP page. Like in the case of the previous releases, we made it available in a convenient bundle with the other 2 new releases (SACRAL NIGHT "Ancient Remains" and IN AEVUM AGERE "Canto III") and you can add to it also the new compilation CD "Compendium of Metal Vol. 12". Until then, we will keep the German shipping rates in the shop. Thanks to this, you can buy many more items for the same low shipping cost, which is particularly convenient for orders from outside of Europe and within Germany.
