Silverheart was formed in 2011 in Rosario, Argentina, essentially as a power metal band. The first songs were covers of bands like Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Kamelot, Rhapsody of Fire and HammerFall. Shortly afterwards, they started composing their own songs, partly influenced by those bands but adding elements of other metal styles such as Nü Metal or Symphonic Metal.In April 2012, they released their first three-song demo on YouTube, and by the end of August, a video of the song The Final Lap. In March 2013, they released their first EP called The Dark Lighthouse, published in 2014 in digital format by the label Don’t Pay Music. Some months later, they began to record what would become their first studio album called Forsaken Words. The album was released in December 2015 in digital format as well as in physical form. Forsaken Words has received good reception and wide acceptance from the audience and local media, as well as listeners from many countries around the World, especially Japan. In July 2016 released their second video, a cover of the song Maniac, belonging to the soundtrack of the classical 80’s film Flashdance and in December 2016 a third video of the song Shadows’ Maiden. At the end of October 2017, his fourth videoclip, Thanatos, came to light.In February 2017, the signed with Wagner Records for the digital distribution of Forsaken Words.During its short career Silverheart have been playing on stages throughout Rosario and nearby cities like Buenos Aires, including places where both national and internacional renowned metal artists have also played, such as Blind Guardian and Zakk Wylde, among others. Between 2017 and 2018 they played as support band for different international artists like Sonata Arctica, Amaranthe, Delain and Kotipelto & Liimatainen.
