Angel Black was formed in 2013 in Scottsdale Arizona. The band got together with one thing in mind, to write powerful riffs with a classic metal feel. The bands influences are steeped with the legends of heavy metal. From the opening riff of "Cyber Spy" the first song the band wrote together. One thing was certain you don’t hear this type of metal, played with Conviction, Precision and Fire often.Angel Black plays from the heart, forging their own brand of Heavy Metal. No Gimmicks, No Fad's and No Fear of what they face in an ever changing music industry.With the debut record totally completed, Angel Black has set out to partner with the right Record Company. Were looking for a label that embraces Heavy Metal. We want to get to the next level, that takes working with the right people in the music business, the right TEAM.Their debut record is titled Angel Black "Killing Demons". The title is fitting to all, we’re all fight something everyday of our life.The record was "Mastered" by well known Mastering Wiz, Nathan James at Vault Mastering. Nathan has Mastered many of the “hits” you hear everyday on the radio. Nathan, is well known and respected from his days as a mastering engineer at the World Famous Hit Factory in NYC.The band has also written and recorded the song "Killing Me". The song has been submitted to an upcoming movie under the guidance of the "legendary" Guitarist Freddie Salem, one-time member of what was known as the Guitar Army, “The Outlaw's”.Angel Black is in rehearsal mode right now. The band is road ready and looking forward to touring the world.The band is represented by Beverly Hills Attorney Leonard KorobkIn ESQ, in all business matters. Mr. Korobkin, has represented many famous artists over a career that has spanned a lifetime. He represented Thrash Metal Pioneer's Megadeth, for many years.Angel Black, has secured a very aggressive Social Media Marketing Partnership with a world renowned marketing company. This will help the band get there music in the hands of fans, all over the world.

Finding The Sacred Heart Live In Philly 1986 was recorded at The Spectrum in Philadelphia on June 17th 1986 during the second leg of the Sacred Heart tour, which featured new guitarist Craig Goldy. The show was issued in an edited form first on VHS and then DVD. Now for the first time the full concert is being released as a double CD in the original running order and with remastered sound. It's an extraordinary live show with a giant animatronic dragon towering over the stage and spectacular lasers and pyrotechnics. Ronnie James Dio is in fine voice as ever and the band deliver a blistering live performance featuring tracks from their first three albums alongside Black Sabbath and Rainbow classics. This will be a must-have release for any Dio fan! The King of Rock and Roll rolled into Philly with a new axeman. Vivian Campbell bitterly departed and was replaced by Craig Goldy of Ruff Cutt. Goldy had a flashier style, a bit heavier on the shred. The Sacred Heart tour was a big deal, and I can distinctly remember seeing TV ads for the Toronto show. They had their big dragon on stage, a crystal ball, and Accept as the opening act. The Philly gig was filmed, and so today we have this double live album to enjoy.As it did on Sacred Heart, “King of Rock and Roll” opened the set with a flurry of speed. Another newbie, “Like the Beat of a Heart” goes over well with an extended solo by Goldy including a nod to Blackmore. “Don’t Talk to Strangers” is the first Dio classic in the set, though “Hungry for Heaven” was a top 30 single.Dio had so much material to play (including his past with Rainbow and Black Sabbath) that a lot of the biggest songs are jammed into medleys. “The Last in Line”, “Children of the Sea” and “Holy Diver” are truncated into eight minutes. “Rock ‘N’ Roll Children” is joined with the Rainbow classics “Love Live Rock ‘N’ Roll” and “Man on the Silver Mountain”. It seems a shame that there are guitar solos, a drum solo, and even a keyboard solo, but all these classics had to be crammed together into medleys. “Heaven and Hell” is complete at least, but Claude Schnell’s keyboards sound out of place on this Sabbath cornerstone.1986 was one of many prime periods for Dio. Your perception of this CD set will largely hinge on how much you like Craig Goldy vs. Vivian Campbell. Goldy was a fine replacement though his shredding often sounds like a green kid just going for it. There is plenty of great Dio material to enjoy, all killer no filler from start to finish…solos aside that is. There’s even a live version of the smooth “Time to Burn”, the first new song with Goldy from the Intermission EP.There is a nice selection of live Dio available on the market. Finding the Sacred Heart would be a great choice for most, but if you want Dio live with Vivian Campbell, probably best to go for the Donington 1983 & 1987 set. This one certainly sounds excellent, it’s a beautiful recording and mix.
